Grammy-nominated singer Jessie J took to Instagram to reflect on her heartbreaking miscarriage exactly one year ago. The artist born Jessica Ellen Cornish is currently with basketball player Chanan Safir Colman; however, she and actor Channing Tatum were together from 2018 to 2020.
After ending her relationship with Max Pham last year, Jessie revealed that she wants to try for a baby of her own. The “Flashlight” singer got pregnant late last year; however, she lost the baby soon after.

Late last year, Jessie announced that she wanted to try for a baby after breaking up with her boyfriend, Pham.
In November 2021, she announced to her fans that she had lost the baby the night before a show in Los Angeles. In her recent Instagram story, the singer wrote, “One year ago today, I was told my baby was no longer beating. Although I can tell the story now without crying, I have and still find all the positives the experience has given me. “
Jessie revealed that while the experience equipped her with “strength, wisdom, empathy, and gratitude,” it left her scarred.

“It still hurts, and all day I just think about all the women and men and families that have gone through this so much and how strong they are,” the “Dominos” artist continued. “Time helps, but it never really fades.”
Jessie went on to say “love and strength” to people who have experienced or are still experiencing that form of loss. “And to my little angel baby. I feel you everywhere. Especially today,” the singer ended her post.

In November last year, Jessie announced to her fans via Instagram that she had just suffered a miscarriage the day before her planned show in Las Vegas. He made the announcement hours before his appearance on stage and assured his fans that he would still be performing.
“Yesterday morning, I was laughing with a friend saying, ‘Seriously, how am I going to do my show in LA tomorrow night without telling the whole audience I’m pregnant,” her statement read. “By midday yesterday I was dreading the thought of going through the gig without giving up… after having my 3rd scan and being told there was no more heartbeat.”
Jessie followed up her statement with a picture of herself holding a positive pregnancy test. He later stated that he wanted to perform that night not because he wanted to avoid grief but because he truly felt that singing would help him deal with it.

Jessie’s performance on stage at The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles was an emotional affair, with the artist appearing to be on the verge of tears at every moment. She spoke to her fans about the miscarriage during the show and revealed that a while ago, she was told her chances of having children were non-existent.
“I’ve been told for a long time that I can’t have children, and I never believed it. I don’t believe in lies,” he said. “I decided to have my own baby. And then, miraculously, it worked for a while. And yesterday, yes, yesterday was the king of damnation.”
Jessie thanked everyone in the audience for being with her as she grieved. “I want to be here tonight because the one thing I believe in the most in this whole universe, beyond surface chatter and Instagram and the internet, is to be human and be vulnerable and be real,” the artist continued.
