Jimmy Kimmel Doubles Down On Blasting Aaron Rodgers In First Show Of 2024

Jimmy Kimmel is back on the air and has decided to join this year’s show by taking a shot at his perceived nemesis, Aaron Rodgers.

The media personalities have clashed over the years, with the NFL star taking it a step further by accusing Kimmel of spending time with Jeffrey Epstein. The latter has vehemently denied these allegations, and thanks to Jeffrey Epstein’s now-released list, he has evidence to support his innocence.

Jimmy Kimmel Labels Aaron Rodgers ‘Hamster Brained Man’ Over False Claim

The first episode of 2024 “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” caught the host slamming Rodgers for making false claims about his ties to notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Earlier this month, the New York Jets quarterback implied Kimmel was among the names listed in the late inmate’s flight log.

Unfortunately for Rodgers, he owes Kimmel credit for his false claims, as the entertainer’s name is nowhere to be found on the infamous list. Not one to miss an opportunity to embarrass his foe, the late-night talk show host proudly celebrated his victory in his opening monologue.

Kimmel believes Rodgers’ arrogance stems from a successful NFL career, which made him see himself as “an extraordinary being.” However, being physically gifted is not the same as being book smart, in the host’s opinion.

“He thinks that because God gave him the ability to throw the ball, he is smarter than other people. The idea that his brain was just mediocre was beyond him. We learn, during COVID, he somehow knows more about science than scientists,” the TV personality said, adding:

“This hamster-brained guy thinks he knows what the government is doing because he’s a quarterback who does research on YouTube and listens to podcasts. Aaron Rodgers is too arrogant to know how ignorant he is. They let him host Jeopardy! for two weeks, and now he knows everything.”

Kimmel noted that Rodgers’ false claim affected his personal life because it led some to believe he “meets Tom Hanks and Oprah once a week at Shakey’s to eat pizza and drink children’s blood.”

However, he accepted some of the blame for the quarterback’s lie, saying it may have been his way of getting revenge for the 2023 joke. Last February, Kimmel teased Rodgers for theorizing that the viral UFO sightings were fake and used to distract people from Epstein’s list.

“He saw it and, perhaps to take revenge, he decided to insinuate that I was a pedophile. This is how these people do it now — if you don’t like Trump, you’re a pedophile. It was their move,” Kimmel said before insisting that Rodgers’ actions were wrong.

“Saying someone is a pedophile is not an opinion — nor is it trash talk. Sorry, Pat McAfee,” he continued, referring to the podcast host who pointed out Rodgers was making false claims.

Kimmel went on to blast the athlete, noting that while he makes jokes about other celebrities, he never lies to support his narrative. “And when we get something wrong, which happens on rare occasions, you know what I do? I apologize for it,” the TV host declared, adding:

“That’s what Aaron Rodgers has to do. That’s what a good person would do. But I bet he won’t. I’ll accept his apology and move on — but I’m sure he won’t.”

After repeatedly slamming Rodgers, the talk show host ended his criticism with a joke, “I want to congratulate Aaron Rodgers, who did the impossible: He made the New York Jets look worse.”
