As for the future, “They continue to pursue a good resolution of all issues in this matter.”
As part of the agreement reached between the parties, (Joe) will file a notice of dismissal for claims related to parenting.

Shortly after reaching their agreement, Joe, 45, and Sophie, 27, released a brief statement on Tuesday announcing that they “can’t wait” to be “wonderful co-parents” to their two daughters.
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving homes in the US and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents,” the former couple said in a statement.
The mediation comes after Sophie sued her estranged husband for wrongful retention, claiming the singer is withholding the passports of their two daughters and preventing them from returning to the UK.

Joe issued his own statement following his filing, asserting that he is “seeking co-parenting with the children so that they are raised by their mother and father and, of course, is also fine with the children being raised in the US and USA. UK,” but also claimed that the children “have spent most of their lives in the US”
“This was an unfortunate legal dispute over a marriage that ended sadly. When language like ‘abduction’ is used, it is misleading at best, and an abuse of the legal system at worst,” the statement added. “The child was not abducted.”
