The presentation for Disney+ and Disney Channel at the D23 Expo was a bittersweet moment for Stamos. A YouTube video from the event captures the entertainer’s heartfelt account of his time with Saget. Although the “Never Too Young to Die” star joined the show to promote her Disney+ series “Big Shot,” it didn’t stop the actress from reflecting on the last memories she shared with her friend.

Dressed in an all-black suit with a blue shirt, the Project Cuddle spokesperson swapped his usually clean-shaven face for a full beard and confidently walked on stage to share his message. The “Full House” co-stars may not have been twinned for the photo, but the longtime pals looked as happy as two peas in a pod with matching black sunglasses and bright smiles. Despite being over 50 years old, the Hollywood actress unleashes her inner child at the amusement park. The second image captures the couple in onesies designed as Disney characters.

Reliving these precious memories is a difficult task for the “Born to Ride” star. The 59-year-old held back tears as he told the audience about his final moments with Saget. Stamos admitted he can’t remember the rides, meals and activities he did with the “How I Met Your Mother” narrator. However, the emotions since that day remained unchanged in his heart. In his words:

“I remember how we felt. We had fun, we laughed, we acted like big kids, we felt the simple, unspoken love that happens between grown men in strange pajamas.”

The Cypress native continued with a quote from one of Disney’s most beloved characters, Winnie the Pooh, which read, “‘Any day spent with you is my favorite day.'” Referring to this message, the father of one stated that every day he spends with Saget is his favorite day. However, the best moments happened during the couple’s sightseeing at Disneyland.

Moments later, the People’s Choice Award winner announced that she had a new favorite memory thanks to the audience at the D23 Expo. According to the actor, discussing his memories of Saget at the event became his most recent memory. The “Wedding Wars” star concluded her tribute by paying tribute to the late comedian alongside a powerful reminder about life.

The Emmy nominee explained that no one can reclaim their time with people, which is why Saget lives as a man who makes sure everyone knows how much he cares about them. According to Stamos, his friend was “bombastic about his love” and never left anyone guessing where they stood with him.
