Industry heavyweights are mourning the loss of Lisa Marie Presley hours after her family confirmed her death.
Elvis Presley’s only child, has died after spending a short time in hospital following a full blown heart attack on Thursday. Lisa Marie, who was 54 at the time of her death, made a name for herself as a singer-songwriter, singing songs such as “Lights Out,” “Sinking In,” “I’ll Figure It Out,” and “Here Today, Tomorrow Go.”

The entertainment world experienced a wave of grief after Priscilla — Lisa Marie’s mother — confirmed her daughter’s death in a statement that read:

As reported by The Blast, emergency personnel performed CPR on the singer after they arrived at his residence in Calabasas, California, on Thursday. He was then rushed to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center, where medical staff placed him in a coma.
