The model observed the date with some vintage photos of her father on one of her social media pages, giving off an emotional aura for viewers. Jordyn never missed an opportunity to praise her father after his death in 2017 after a battle with cancer and even appeared in rapper Rick Ross’ “Big Tyme” video as a tribute to the sound engineer in July 2019.

In the years since John’s death, Jordyn has marked his birthdays and other events, no matter how small or painful to her. In his latest update, he dedicated multiple Father’s Day Instagram Stories to the late “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” crew, starting with a throwback image of him sitting with his hand on his left knee.
Next to him is his adorable daughter, who is leaning against the camera while standing on a white surface. She wore a pink long-sleeved jacket over a shiny emerald blue dress with a slit, and John wore jean shorts and a two-in-one round-neck T-shirt. At the bottom of the photo, Jordyn wrote, “My twin. In this life and the next ?.”
Kylie Jenner’s ex-best friend revealed in a second story that she was “doing good all day” until she started seeing “this in-flight photo.” The update, which featured a candid image of John in a shirt and tie, also came with an admission that Jordyn misses her father “so much every day.”
A third story from the model features a smiling John in hospital scrubs alongside the text, “There’s no one like you 1/1,” and a fourth features a father holding his daughter, as a baby, in his arms.

The photo, which the 25-year-old used to express how “blessed” he was for the time he spent with his dad, was followed by a picture of the father and daughter playing on the ground. As the Los Angeles-born beauty beamed from ear to ear at her late father, the television sound engineer stared straight into the camera with a serious look on her face.
The heartbreaking post joined another series in which Jordyn used to show the bond between her and John. In fact, in March, The Blast reported that the Woods By Jordyn founder celebrated her posthumous birthday with an image of a car mirror splashed by raindrops and trees in the background.
“Happy Birthday in heaven, Dad!!! Miss you everyday!!!! ?️?,” she wrote on the image. While it’s hard to tell the exact comments he received from fans in his direct messages, we can only speculate that they bombarded him with kind words and empathetic thoughts.
