Jordyn Woods has reflected on a time when life was simpler.
Although it’s been three years since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, no one, including celebrities, can forget what life was like before that. Woods took to his social media to reminisce about some of the sweet memories he had and places he visited shortly before the announcement in March 2020.

With over 676 million cases and 6.8 million confirmed deaths, COVID-19 is considered one of the deadliest diseases in history. The incident led to increased use of nose masks, social distancing, restricted access to many countries, and eventual shutdowns.
This precaution limited Woods’ ability to enjoy other people’s cultures, giving rise to a special appreciation for the places he visited before 2020. Recalling that one memory, the socialite took to his Instagram Story to post content — two photos and a video — while he was in Abu Dhabi, the capital United Arab Emirates.
In her first update, the 25-year-old posed for a mirror selfie wearing a white two-piece with some designs, a tan Fedora hat and a brown pouch bag. A wide-brimmed hat covered her dark box braids, highlighting her perfectly drawn eyebrows and subtle makeup.
Behind the “Life of Kylie” alum is a large bathtub, a body of water, and a clear blue sky. For her next update, Woods wore an all-black outfit, including a dark long-sleeved scarf and jalamia, which she paired with red earrings and a matching bag.
For glam, the model opted for red lips, highlighter and full lashings, as she posed in front of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The prestigious mosque returns in the third Story in a clip that spans spectacular views from one end to the other.

The “Triumphant” singer added another photo, wearing earrings from her cruise to the fleet while explaining to her followers, “I might have to end my trip early and go home because this virus is getting out of hand.”
Underneath, the “Hip Hop Squares” star added, “The day before the shutdown starts ?.” Across four Instagram Stories, “The Masked Singer” contestant wrote, “Memories. March 12, 2020,” referring to the exact time he was on the trip.
Although his return to the United States went smoothly, Woods’ life soon took an unexpected turn when his boyfriend, Karl-Anthony Towns, lost eight family members – including his mother, Jacqueline Cruz – to the deadly virus.
At the time of the incident, the professional basketball player had used his appearance on Facebook Watch “Peace of Mind with Taraji” to deal with the death while appreciating his girlfriend for holding his hand during the grieving process.
Reflecting on how her romance with Woods developed, the 25-year-old revealed, “It’s crazy because we’re good friends. I think, in a way, when my mother died, she said, ‘I’m not going to leave you alone. I make sure you know who you’re supposed to be with.’”
The 2014 Gatorade National Player of the Year recalled that he and the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” guest star bonded over the fact that the latter also experienced the loss of a parent – his father, John, died of cancer in January 2017.

In addition to helping him deal with his loss, Towns admits that his girlfriend has also helped him “embrace his soft side,” as he realized during their relationship that “a man’s ego is the most sensitive and most dangerous thing the world has to offer.”

The Blast reported last week that Woods and Towns’ romance has grown stronger since they made it social media official in 2020. The model showcased how far they went to prove their love for each other in a video she shared on TikTok.
In the clip, the “Grown-ish” guest star goes full glam and wears a gray sweatshirt and pink beanie. She began the recording by telling viewers that although she had enjoyed a “really good week” with her man who was in town, she had planned to “send something” to his house after she left.
The “something” turned out to be a luxurious black Lamborghini, the sleek interior of which the “Trigger” actor excitedly showed off to his followers and fans. In the middle of the recording, Woods asked his sister, Jodie, “Shortie, what did he give?”
The 18-year-old, who was standing by the car door, quickly replied, “I feel like a little baby now. Actually.” The video has received nearly 490k likes, with over 2k people praising Towns for a job well done in the comments.
