Josh Duggar has been given a break from solitary confinement.
The disgraced reality TV star was jailed after being caught sneaking in an illegal mobile phone.
Duggar was jailed in December 2021 for 151 months originally, but her sentence was extended to 153 months following the cell phone incident.

Duggar is set to be released on August 22, 2032; however, due to his recent bad behavior and breaking the rules, he will now be out on October 2, 2032, per US Sun.
The prison extension came after Duggar was thrown into FCI Seagoville’s SHU (Special Housing Unit), commonly known as solitary confinement.
Duggar’s Release From Overcrowding Solitary Confinement
He was placed in the SHU in February for stealing a cell phone.
US Sun confirmed Duggar was still in the SHU on March 3.
“The Ashley Reality Roundup” announced that the former “19 Kids & Counting” star was released from SHU on Tuesday, March 21.

A source revealed to the outlet, “I can tell you that the SHU there is so bad that the provincial office is down there to see what is going on. They have kept the inmates in the SHU indefinitely, not allowing them to go through the DHO trial, who told them when they come out.”
The source revealed Duggar may be in solitary confinement “for months” until her disciplinary hearing.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons states that inmates in the SHU are allowed only “one phone call per month.”
Visits are primarily “restricted” or “not permitted” depending on the reason for SHU detention.

It appears that the prison is understaffed in some areas and gangs are rampant within the building.
According to a family member of an inmate, FCI Seagoville is a hostile environment, and nearly 2,000 inmates suffer from medical neglect.
“There’s not much security around because they’re severely understaffed,” a source with direct knowledge of the situation revealed. “The prison has quite heavy politics, which means there are gangs in it. Fortunately, it is not as violent as a simple security facility.”
They continued, “But it’s just a dangerous situation, given the level of neglect and so I know that my family members have felt concern for him, I guess I would say he’s always concerned about his well-being, even though he feels physically safe.”
An inmate is suing the prison after another inmate allegedly beat him.
Per US Sunan inmate filed a complaint against a federal prison in October 2022. The inmate claimed staff released him back into the general population knowing he was “in fear of his life.”
“I was attacked with a key by an inmate who was paid by another inmate to carry out the attack,” he said of the July 27, 2022 incident.
Regarding medical neglect, the inmate’s family members said the prison does not always hold “sick calls” on scheduled days.
