“The View” co-host discusses antisemitism amid the war between Hamas and Israel. Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin called out the Harvard graduate student and others for claiming that Israel is “solely responsible for the violence that is occurring.”

Co-host Sara Haines quoted Barack Obama, who said the Israeli government had previously sought to provide a two-state solution, but others had long rejected it.
“You can say Israel has questionable policies. The Jews felt that. I have seen that, they have questionable policies. Where is the outrage when people talk about their lives, the Palestinians, living in an open policy that the parent body bypasses aid? While Israel builds bomb shelters, Hamas builds tunnels to continue attacking its neighbors.
“This is why, you are either pro-co-existence which means Israel has the right to exist, and Palestine. Obama cited in his speech that there are several examples where the Israeli government has previously made meaningful efforts to resolve the dispute and pave the way for a two-state solution, efforts that have ended up being rejected many times by the other side,” said Haines.

Co-host Sunny Hostin said he wanted to remind everyone that, “Hamas has not had free democratic elections since 2005.”
Tlaib tripled down on the Hamas narrative that Israel was behind last week’s explosion at a Gaza hospital in a statement on Monday.
“Media outlets and third-party analysts have cast doubt on the claims and evidence offered by both Israel and the Gaza Ministry of Health, and I agree with the United Nations that an independent investigation is necessary,” Tlaib said.
“I cannot uncritically accept Israel’s denial of responsibility as fact, especially in light of confirmation from the World Health Organization that Israel has bombed many medical facilities in Gaza and reports from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society about continued threats from the Israeli army to evacuate hospitals. “
Tlaib’s office did not respond to a request for comment.
