Justin Bieber is ready to reach an important deal in his career.
The pop star rose to fame in her teenage years with her debut studio album “My World 2.0,” which achieved commercial success. The artist went on to release another successful album, which earned him several awards and nominations.
The R&B singer has also gone on six public tours, with his most recent tour, Justice World, canceled due to mental health reasons.
Adding to Bieber’s musical achievements is a recent deal with IP investment company, Hipgnosis Songs Capital, to sell his music rights.
Justin Bieber Will Hit Major Deals With His Music Catalogue
The “Baby” singer will shell out about $200 million if he sells his music rights to newly formed music investment company Hipgnosis Songs Capital.

According to reports, the sale will include the 28-year-old hitmaker’s catalog of music publications and recordings. It will include all six studio albums under Bieber’s name to date, remixes and singles, and other hits from the artist, such as the 2017 remix of “Despacito.”
However, the news outlet argues that while the deal would be a big win if it closes, investing in music with a low shelf life is considered a more significant risk than buying the rights to years of work.
This logic stems from the fact that people tend to listen to new music when it is first released but often, its popularity wanes over time.
Another pop artist who also made a similar deal is Justin Timberlake. The “Mirrors” singer sold the rights to his song catalog to the same company in 2022, but at a lower price than Bieber. Reportedly, the former NSYNC star’s rights are worth $100 million.
Merck Mercuriadis runs the investment company Hipgnosis Songs Capital. He is said to be the main figure in the recent sale of music rights, which previously mentioned the management of famous singers such as Beyoncé and Elton John.
H&M Responds To Bieber’s Disapproval Of Their New Merchandise

The reported acquisition comes days after H&M responded to allegations Bieber did not approve of their new merchandise, which features him.
According to The Blast, it just so happened that the “Ghost” singer wrote a disclaimer on her Instagram story. It read, “I DO NOT APPROVE ANY OF THE MERCH THEY PUT AT H&M.. all without authorization and approval. SMH I WOULDN’T BUY IT IF I WERE YOU.”
Bieber followed it up with, “The H&M MERCH THEY GIVE ME IS TRASH AND I DON’T APPROVE OF IT. DO NOT BUY.”
The artist’s fan page, @jbiebertraacker details that the clothing line includes a short sweatshirt dress with a black-and-white picture of Bieber and a bright pink oversized hoodie that reads: “I miss you more than life.” which is a line from Bieber’s hit song, “Ghost.” Additionally, there is a tote bag with a picture of Bieber in the collection.
Responding to this post, the “Anyone” singer said, “When everyone finds out I don’t approve of any of this stuff, smh ?♂️.”
H&M saw this denial and issued a statement through their spokesperson. The statement read, “Like all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M follows proper approval procedures.”
The statement also stated that the brand respects their collaboration with the artist, and as such, they have removed all such merchandise.
As expected, fans of the artist had their say. One fan responded, “I CANCELED MY ORDER” while another said, “Even Justin said the stuff was trash. Don’t buy it. I don’t think it was his idea.”
Canadian Singer Plays Dress Up While Serving Up Some Bragging Rights

It seems that Bieber’s hobby is playing dress up, and fans can agree with this as they have seen the artist wearing several disguises.
Last month, we reported that founder Drew was wearing a disguise that kept fans guessing who he was trying to portray. The singer shared a photo of herself in a black wig with side bangs topped off with a fluffy ensemble and accessorized with black sunglasses. The photo captures the singer in a car seat, staring at her phone.
Capturing the image, the singer boasted, “I look good, I smell good, I feel good. And I make good love.”
Fans and other celebrities are guessing who the “Baby” singer is trying to portray. E! News host Jason Kennedy asked the singer, “is that you, hon?” One fan jokingly asked Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, to confirm the singer’s flamboyance. “I need Hailey’s comment on this so I know it’s true,” the fan wrote.
One observer asked, “Blacktop Billie Eilish big t-shirt?” while another thought that the pop star resembled Edna Moda, a fictional character in Pixar’s animated superhero film “The Incredibles.”
