On May 4, the blonde showed off her toned figure in the cutest pink ensemble at the 20th annual John Ritter Foundation Fundraiser in Los Angeles. Luckily, the actress paused on the red carpet to discuss her new life as a mother of one.
Talking about her daughter, the proud parents told ET, “She is five weeks old today. Everyone is happy, everyone is good… He thrives; he’s the best!” Although the entertainer was happy to leave home, the California native admitted that he could not leave Matilda for long.
According to the Teen Choice Award winner, she is “obsessed” with her baby and often watches the little girl in awe. Lovingly, the Hollywood star revealed her daughter inherited her comedic gifts.
“He’s great. She’s five weeks old, and she’s laughing today, full of laughter, and I’m like, ‘This kid is hysterical!’” exclaimed the doting mom, stating that she wanted to share her daughter’s sweetest moment with the world.
“I’ve been the mom who posts every weird thing. She does something, and I’m like, ‘I have to post it!'” the Young Artist Award nominee declared. Before Matilda’s arrival, the actress expressed no interest in learning about motherhood from parenting books.
When asked if her stance has changed since welcoming her little one, the “8 Simple Rules” star said she’s doing her best without academic support. “Still haven’t read anything,” the media personality announced, adding that Pelphrey didn’t mind winging it.
“We find ourselves in a very realistic situation. We just go with the flow,” explained the 37-year-old player. “He told us what he wanted; it is clear; it’s like one of three things.”
