Kamal Sadanah is an Indian actor, producer, and director. He is the son of famous Indian filmmaker Brij Sadanah. The actor lost his entire family on his 20th birthday after his father shot himself after killing his mother and younger sister.

Mom and dad had an argument on the morning of my birthday. By evening, dad had consumed more than his share of alcohol. I went with my friends to celebrate my birthday. We got back to the bungalow after midnight and were hanging out in my room. When we heard the gunshots, we all ran down.”
