Kamal Sadanah made his acting debut with the film “Bekhudi” in 1992, opposite Kajol; however, the film did not perform well at the box office.
The actor got his big break with his next film “Rang” (1993) in which he played the lead role alongside late actress Divya Bharti.
In 2005, he acted in the film “Karkash.” He played the role of the villain in the film “Victoria No. 203: Diamonds Are Forever” (2007); he also produced the film. In 2022, he appeared in the film “Salaam Venky” along with his debut film star Kajol after a long gap of 15 years. Some of her notable films include “Fauj” (1994), “Jai Maa Vaishnav Devi” (1995), “Angaara” (1996), and “Mohabbat Aur Jung” (1998).

Mom and dad had an argument on the morning of my birthday. By evening, dad had consumed more than his share of alcohol. I went with my friends to celebrate my birthday. We got back to the bungalow after midnight and were hanging out in my room. When we heard the gunshots, we all ran down.”
