The dress covered every part of the model’s body except her glowing face. However, the upper part of the petite body was tightly wrapped, from her back up, while the lower part flowed freely, as if to give her ease of movement on the runway.

Her outfit also includes gloves, stockings and a headdress of the same color, all of which have black and white circles that resemble warning labels placed haphazardly in various locations on her surface.

Emhoff paired the ensemble with Harry Potteresque glasses that completed her dazzling face. In addition, she wore black platform heels which added to her impressive height of 5 feet 8 inches.

Bizzare Designs Explained

Emhoff’s clothing, born of Willen’s clever fashion ideas, features a new take on combining CGI techniques and special effects in filmmaking with fashion design. Release from Gotham, per New York Postfurther explains the concept behind the fashion designer’s unusual approach.

“Maisie Wilen has always put digital first, so innovation in technology is a natural progression of the brand,” the publication said. “Spring/Summer 2023 features motion capture markers applied directly to garments via print. These tiny symbols and dots, typically used in filmmaking by special effects artists, allow the digital process to continue beyond the development phase and grow without limits.”

It continued: “The print also features lens flares and exaggerated manipulated faces, which represent the real product and are clearly distorted from the referenced method. The green screen set of the runway show allows for further distortion while mimicking the environment of its filmmaking inspiration.”

Ella Emhoff Makes Headlines For Her Breast Appearance

Emhoff made waves over the weekend for dressing very differently to her ensemble for Wilen. The model was dressed in a thin green scarf that revealed her entire stomach. It also revealing one breast in full public view, perhaps as a result of a fashion faux pas.

The scarf was tied in a knot and draped around the model’s neck in a halter style before suddenly separating and falling across her chest. She completed the outfit with a black leather mini skirt on top, black strappy heels and matching long gloves.

She Recently Received a Fashion Tribute

Although Emhoff first came to professional recognition in the modeling world last year, the 23-year-old is slowly making a name for herself and was recently honored at the 2022 Harper’s Bazaar Icons & Bloomingdale’s 150th Anniversary party for her impact on the art world in which is so short.

“It was a bit of a surprise,” said the model, per Many people. “It’s an amazing honor and as someone who doesn’t think of herself that much, it’s a nice reassurance. And it makes me check myself and how I see myself, which is really exciting.”

The Parsons School of Design graduate also shared at the event that she still gets nervous when she’s about to walk the runway.

He said, “It’s the moment before you go where you’re like blackouts and then your stomach is like butterflies and your palms are sweaty – and after you’re done, it feels like the greatest feeling.”
