The girlfriend of one of the three Kansas City Chiefs fans found dead after a game-day viewing party says he wasn’t a drug abuser — as she revealed she believed he was “murdered.”
Lorie Kruse’s boyfriend, David Harrington, 37, was found frozen to death outside Jordan Willis’ Kansas City rental home with Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36, on January 9.
Although police have stated that the case is not being investigated as a homicide and foul play is not suspected, Kruse is adamant that Harrington, her 17-year-old boyfriend, was killed.
“David was killed,” he told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo on Friday. “All three men were killed.”
“It doesn’t make sense if three men are dead, lying in the yard and [Jordan] sleep for 48 hours.”
Willis’ attorney previously said his clients “slept on the couch” near a loud fan while wearing noise-cancelling headphones for nearly two days and did not learn of their deaths until a welfare check at the home.
Harrington, Kruse believes, must have been “stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time” but admits he doesn’t know “what’s going to happen” as the investigation into the tragedy continues.

Three Kansas City Chiefs fans were found frozen to death in a friend’s backyard on January 9, where they had gathered to watch a football game.
The bodies of David Harrington, 37, Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36, may have been there for two days.
Jordan Willis, the man who rented the house, insisted he had “no idea” about the fate of his friends.

Willis’ lawyer said the man “slept on the couch” for two days while his friend’s loved ones tried to contact him.
“This case is 100% NOT being investigated as a homicide,” Kansas City police Capt. Jake Becchina told Fox News Digital.

“I don’t know if Jordan gave them anything like they talked about,” he told Cuomo. “David is not a drug addict like they talk about.”
He also said that although the party was described as a gathering of friends, he never heard Harrington speak in depth about Willis.
“I’ve heard of Jordan before. I have never met him. I have heard a lot of bad things about him,” he revealed.

“I don’t know the truth … David never talked about Jordan. I’ve heard Jordan’s name when he talks to his friends … I don’t think I’ve heard any stories about Jordan at all.”
He told Cuomo that Willis was “taking drugs,” but didn’t explain what he meant by that.
While there has been speculation that the three friends’ deaths may have been drug-related, “David didn’t do anything like that,” Kruse said. “… Maybe they took something because they were drinking. But I know David won’t accept it.
“We just talked to my kids about not using drugs and how fentanyl is always in the news,” she added.

Harrington would “walk” home “if he was cold” or was big enough to “break the window” or go warm up in his car.
“He is a good man. A very good man,” he told NewsNation. “He goes to church with us. He coached my son’s baseball team.”
Willis’ father, Rodney Willis, said his son “wouldn’t have done anything in a million years,” and insisted his family was grieving with the victim’s loved ones.

“These are all his best friends, these are all people he goes to school with and he brought them to the football game the day before for the Chiefs,” he told The Post Thursday.
The family is waiting for the toxicology report, but “it doesn’t matter what the autopsy says,” Kruse told Cuomo.
“That’s what people forget here. We have three boys, we have six fatherless children. We have family, we have friends, and we’re all hurting.”
The heartbroken mother said she had told her children about Harrington’s death, as seen by her children on TikTok. He also claimed people made fun of the trio’s deaths because they “didn’t know” him.

“I can’t catch a break because my phone is blowing up about ‘did you hear this’ or ‘did you hear about social media, with all these links.’ And no, that’s not true and it’s rude. It’s painful. It’s not who David is. David did no such thing,” Kruse told Cuomo.
“I really don’t believe everything they’re talking about is true, because it’s not, it’s not what I know. That’s not what my kids know. It’s not.”
The Post has reached out to Kruse for comment.
Harrington, Johnson and McGeeney were found at Willis’ home two days after the Jan. 7 Chiefs game after McGeeney’s fiance requested a welfare check.
Police searched the house, where they found the gruesome discovery. Willis, who had been asleep for two days, said it was the first time he knew his friends had died.
Harrington’s father Jon previously said he did not believe Willis’ version of events, saying: “[Harrington’s mother] and I’m both convinced that Jordan Willis played a role in this.”
“Innocent people rarely hire criminal defense attorneys,” Jon told The Post in a text Saturday.
A fifth friend, Alex Weamer-Lee, was also at the ill-fated party, and it was previously reported that when he left around midnight, four other fans were watching “Jeopardy!”
“It’s a traumatic situation for everybody,” Weamer-Lee’s mother told The Post outside her home Saturday.
“I’ll just shut up.”
Willis has never been accused of any wrongdoing.
