Rapper Kanye West is already causing a stir with the release of his highly anticipated album, “Vultures.”
Shortly after being blasted online by rock icon Ozzy Osbourne for sampling a live version of his band’s song “War Pigs” without permission, West was called back for using the song without permission.
The estate of late singer Donna Summer took to social media to accuse the rapper of copyright infringement for using her song “I Feel Love” on her album.

“Love Lockdown” rapper Kanye West doesn’t seem to care about due process, especially when it comes to sampling other people’s music.
Following the release of his 12th studio album, “Vultures,” West has come under intense scrutiny for allegedly using samples of other artists’ songs after requesting and being denied access.
In the latest development, the estate of late music legend Donna Summer has slammed the rapper for using the singer’s song after being told not to. They also stated in a statement that she used either an AI-generated version or someone impersonating Summer’s voice.

The rapper was recently called out by Ozzy, who also accused West of using his song “War Pig” without permission. Ozzy took to Twitter on Friday to blast West, branding him an anti-Semite, which he wants nothing to do with.
He wrote, “@kanyewest ASKED FOR PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A 1983 ‘PIG WAR’ LIVE PERFORMANCE SECTION FROM A US PARTY WITHOUT THE VOCALS & WAS DENIED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS ANTI-SEMIT AND HAS CAUSED MANY UNDESERVED HEART PAIN.”
Ozzy added: “HE WENT UP AND USED THAT SAMPLE AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT. I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS MAN!”

Shortly after sending the message, the rocker deleted it for unknown reasons. West has hit back at Ozzy by sharing a photo of him and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, dressed up as the rapper and his wife, Bianca Censori, for Halloween last year.
In the picture, Ozzy, 75, is seen wearing the rapper’s signature all-black ensemble, with his face covered. At the same time, Sharon wears a body suit and holds a purple cushion, reminiscent of one of Censorship’s many controversial outfits.
West captioned the image, “She obviously has celebrity handlers on her account.”

Sharon, who couldn’t help herself, trashed West in an interview, calling the rapper a “pig” and “anti-Semitic” for using her husband’s song without permission.
The TV personality, whose father, Don Arden, is Jewish, stated that although West asked for permission, her husband refused the rapper.
Sharon, whose father, Don Arden, is Jewish, told TMZ that West “f—- with the wrong Jew,” claiming that he “represents hatred” and “disrespectful anti-Semitism,” so Ozzy has a “special f— ” – an opportunity to say no.” He added that the West “is a pig.”

On social media, netizens also felt anger towards Barat for allegedly sampling the song without permission. The “All of The Lights” rapper has been accused of disrespecting artists whose songs have been used on his albums.
Someone on X said, “Stealing people’s crafts is rude and weird, btw.” Another asked, “Isn’t this illegal? Kanye needs to be called wtf?!?!
A third commented, “Oh, he shouldn’t disrespect your summer heritage like that.”
Amid the criticism, others argued that the rapper found a “loophole” by changing the song’s lyrics.
One person wrote, “Man if the words were changed, it made it completely different, that means he didn’t use his song anymore, having someone else sing adds to the fact he didn’t use his song or his voice. Obviously it was inspired by his song I just said he didn’t use the song or his voice illegally so legally he did nothing wrong and morally we (artists) were inspired by other artists and that is also not wrong.”
They added, “I think because it’s Kanye, it automatically looks bad. He said no, he did what the law ordered, which was not to use his words or voice without permission.”
