Kanye heard the cries and complaints of social media and decided to give a rare on-camera interview FOX News.
When asked about the backlash surrounding him being insensitive to homelessness, the rapper responded, “Look, I’m an innovator. I’m not here to sit back and apologize for my ideas.”
He continued to defend his position saying, “That’s what the media is trying to do. Make us apologize for any ideas that didn’t work out the way we wanted.”

Not stopping there, Kanye explained that the clothes were not stored in a bin or trash bag, but rather a large construction bag.
He feels this style of product display and shopping makes for a “more convenient and informal” experience for shoppers.
“This is not a joke, this is not a game, this is not just a celebrity collaboration… this is my life,” he explained. “I’m fighting for a position to be able to change clothes and bring the best designs to people.”
To really stick it to social media trolls, Kanye said, “I’m here actually working at a homeless shelter. There’s documentation about it where the city comes and tears down my creations while I’m at it. So nobody can tell me I insensitive when things I think about every day and have actually put my thoughts and innovations.”
