Actor Justin Long and actress Kate Bosworth are already married even though they only got engaged a few weeks ago!
The couple, who began dating publicly in March 2022, sparked engagement rumors a year later when the “Blue Crush” actress was spotted wearing an engagement ring at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty. Then, in May, the two created more speculation that they were married when fans thought they saw them wearing wedding rings in a Mother’s Day photo posted on their Instagram Stories.
It looks like the couple really can’t wait to tie the knot, as they apparently tied the knot in May in a ceremony in New York City that onlookers said looked more like a photoshoot than an actual wedding!

Fans may not be too surprised to learn that Justin Long and Kate Bosworth are already married! A source told Page Six on Wednesday evening that the couple married at The Rockaway Hotel in Queens without much planning. The pair attended an event at the venue held by surf brand Roxy, who recently collaborated with Kate on a swimwear photo shoot.
“It was a very simple ceremony. Viewers thought it was some sort of engagement shoot — not an actual wedding,” an insider revealed. “They fell in love with the atmosphere of the hotel, and they decided to get married the next day right then and there!”

Earlier this month, the “Accepted” actor revealed on the “Life Is Short” podcast that he was already married when he referred to Kate as his wife. He’s been talking to guest Kyra Sedgwick about having Kate visit him on set while he’s filming “Barbarian” in Bulgaria.
“I was there when I was like totally in love with my now wife,” he said last month. “He came to visit and I was never comfortable with the set visit. I love separating the relationship … But, yeah, I love having him there and we just have the most magical time.”

In early April, Justin and Kate appeared together on the “Life is Short With Justin Long” podcast to confirm rumors that they were engaged. The “Jeepers Creepers” actor revealed that he had planned something for his birthday in January, but, the proposal “fell out” in an “organic” way after a therapy session.
“I do have a special plan [Kate’s] birthday and about a month before that, life, as we talked about, things change, and sometimes they change drastically without any warning,” Justin said while talking to Kate on the podcast. “It was a moment where it felt very organic and it felt connected to something very, very deep, very personal that we were going through, like, real-life changes, and it came out in a very organic way.”

Kate also shared that their therapist “gave us really great advice: ‘Make sure you’re consistently asking the other person what you need, or asking the other person what they need.'” Later, she said she asked Justin what which he needed when the two of them were alone.
“And he, like, really looked at me and he said, ‘To spend my life with you,’ and I smiled and I said, ‘Well, yeah, you’ve got that. Oh my, you’ve got that,’ and he said, ‘No, I mean I really want to spend my life with you,'” she recalled.

This is Justin’s first marriage. Kate was previously married to director Michael Polish from 2013 to 2021. The divorce was only finalized in April, apparently after Justin and Kate were already engaged. Regardless, a source told PEOPLE magazine that Kate was “on cloud nine” following the proposal.
“She showed her engagement ring to friends. He’s shy about the details, but he’s beaming,” the insider said, adding, “Everybody’s happy for him” and his friends think that “Justin is a great guy. He adored her. It was wonderful to see them together.”
