The atmosphere is electric and full of excitement. The comedian, who was overwhelmed by the love and support during the show, took to his social media platforms to express his gratitude to his loyal fans. He shared a video of himself dancing on stage and waving to his audience as they gave him a standing ovation.
In the first prompt across the video, he wrote, “You guys, I’m so thankful for this audience! I still can’t get over it. My first performance in five long years”! In another prompt, the “Pulp Fiction” actor shared details of his journey to sell the show.
The Grammy Award-winning comedian said she negotiated the deal because she had no team to support her, and her husband acted as her tour manager. He also proudly admits that he achieved this feat independently, without the support of media partnerships.
“There were no offers for specials or live broadcasts, but the show was sold out because the real person showed up live, he was ejaculating.” He reflects on how far he has come: “After an international political scandal and a lung cancer survivor, I finally feel like I’m at home.”
Thanking his die-hard fans, he noted that the audience stood and cheered for him for nearly three minutes. In no time, her fans, filled with admiration and support, flooded the comments section of her social media posts, expressing their love for the talented TV host.
One fan commented, “AMAZING show! I laughed until my face and stomach hurt! ❤️” Another supporter said, “This is going to make me cry! So proud of you and all you’ve accomplished to get here, Kathy! Your tenacity is so inspiring!!! Congratulations!!!”
This fan added, “Love the way you go!!!!!! Similarly, I bow down (sincerely) !!!!!❤️”. Griffin’s return to the spotlight has poetic significance, given the obstacles he’s faced recently. Earlier this month, the former co-host of “The View” shared candid insight into her rehabilitation of her damaged voice.
His battle with lung cancer had affected his vocal cords, leading to medical surgery. Ever the charming personality, Griffin captivated his audience with his signature quirks as he shared his story through TikTok videos.
The video begins with a shot of Griffin at the Polo Lounge restaurant, exuding star quality. In her trademark style, she gracefully settles into her seat, elegantly discarding her unusual red coat and sunglasses before locking eyes with the camera, radiating intensity.
Warnings flashed across the screen, acknowledging the upcoming medical and graphic content, allowing viewers to opt out if they found it distressing.
The clip then transitions to a scene in a hospital, offering fans a closer look at what the 62-year-old comedian is wearing. She wore a stunning red coat adorned with black fur detailing and a red bandage top layered over a black camisole, elegantly complemented by dark blue jeans.
The Oak Park native noted that she was in good hands, describing her doctor as “a woman’s voice surgeon.” The video shows her doctor performing a series of tests by sticking a camera up the TV personality’s nose to see her vocal cords.
Explaining footage seen on a hospital monitor with overlay text, the “For Your Consideration” star stated that her left cord was paralyzed. He explained in the caption that he underwent surgery in preparation for his Vegas show.
