Popular actor Keanu Reeves celebrated the newlyweds’ day after crashing their reception at Fawsley Hall hotel in Northamptonshire. Reeves spent some time at the four-star hotel where he met couple James and Nikki Roadnight.
Many fans believed he was at the hotel to work on Disney+’s upcoming “Formula One” documentary. The couple were thrilled with the special guests who arrived shortly after they were announced as husband and wife. However, the 57-year-old had met the groom earlier that day at the hotel bar.

In an interview with News Week, the newlyweds shared that her husband met Reeves shortly after they tied the knot. She recounted: “My husband saw him in the bar area and told him he had just got married and invited Keanu to come say hello and have a drink with us if he wanted.”
Nikki also revealed that the star is nice and friendly with James. Although they weren’t sure she would show up, she was excited that her husband had a chance to talk to her. They were even happier when Reeves accepted his offer to attend the wedding.

Nikki spoke about Reeves’ personality, saying that he was “nice and friendly” and “congratulations” on their marriage. He even agreed to take some selfies with them. She said, “Our wedding photographer was able to snap a few pictures too! Then he took the time to talk to some of our guests and get more pictures ready!”

Whether or not the series was the reason he was at the hotel, he definitely wasn’t planning on having a wedding. However, this is not the first time he has done it.

The photo was later posted on Twitter by the groom’s quilt maker, who captioned it “Best #Wedding Pic! of #KeanuReeves in stylish @slanjkilts.”

Per BBC news, Reeves also surprised fans by popping into a local pub in Charwelton for “a few whiskeys” and dinner. Fox and Hounds landlord Danny Ricks recounted his surprise when the actor casually walked in and sat down at a table of six. He then ordered a vegetarian Caesar salad, falafel, and a shot of whiskey.
Ricks recalls: “It was weird. I had to do a double take when he came in because I couldn’t believe my eyes. I thought ‘that guy looks so much like Keanu Reeves.'” He also heard him discussing the film and the script with customers at his table, and they all loved it.

Ricks said those who met Reeves thoroughly enjoyed their time with him. She said, “He was a beautiful, humble man who was very kind to everyone. All the good things you think about him are true.” He added that he took pictures with customers and staff and “took a lot of time to chat with everyone.”
He also recalled how much Reeves liked whiskey as he took “a couple of doubles” from him. He said, “He sure likes his whiskey.” Ricks added that staff and customers contained their excitement until he left the pub. “We managed to stay professional until the end of his visit,” he explained, “but of course we had to take a picture with him.”

Ricks continued, “It’s not every day you get it [to see] Hollywood stars walk into your pub. It made everyone’s night. He’s a great guy and very beautiful.”
