Tom Schwartz recently spoke with him People magazine about the heavy public backlash from the Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss affair scandal. She revealed that she almost moved out of Los Angeles due to criticism of her alleged involvement in hiding Scandoval’s affair.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star talked about wanting a fresh start for herself, free from all the noise. She said, “I have this urge to pack my things and move, I don’t know where – not run away, but just move.”
Schwartz, who is busy with life after finalizing his divorce from Katie Maloney, also talked about needing a break. He said he really wanted a chance to “unplug” and take some time away from his phone, the internet and all social media platforms.
When Schwartz finally got an invite to Fox’s reality show “Stars on Mars,” it was a chance to take a break. She was cast in the reality show alongside celebrities such as Porsha Williams, Lance Armstrong, and Tallulah Willis. He said, “It couldn’t have come at a better time.”

The bar owner says his time off the internet has ended up “rejuvenating and restoring” his mind and body. He stated, “I got a massive infusion of levitation and adventure, and it was just what the doctor ordered.”

During a recent appearance on the “When Reality Hits Jax and Brittany” podcast, Schwartz talked about her relationship with Sandoval. He spoke of “taking a break” from their friendship now and said it was hard “not to be angry” at his business partner.
He said, “He made a big mess and left us to clean up, business and so on. It’s hard for us not to hold grudges. I’m taking a break from Tom right now, I haven’t talked to him in a while. I’m happy for him, I know he’s very passionate about the band.”

Schwartz explained that he was upset by Sandoval’s “lack of remorse” about the whole scandal and felt “exploited”. He said he knew the musician was truly sorry for the situation but “didn’t do a good job of showing it.” He added, “He must throw away the man of ego, hard humility. When you have an affair, that part of your story no longer exists.
Schwartz concluded by saying that Sandoval should “lose his ego” to apologize for his actual actions. He said, “I said to him after the reunion, ‘Dude after all the things you’ve done to us, you better marry this girl.’

Schwartz also revealed that he really “doesn’t know” if Sandoval and Leviss still have their romantic relationship. She also shared that she “couldn’t be happier” because she didn’t know about their current situation.
Earlier this year, Sandoval revealed that he and Leviss had taken a break from their relationship after the scandal became public news in March. The singer was featured on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast and said they were “kind of taking a break.” He added, “We don’t put any label on it.”
When asked by Mandel if he and Leviss still had a friends-with-benefits relationship, Sandoval emphatically denied it. He insisted that they had decided to remain “good friends” amid the controversy.
