Keke Palmer is prioritizing the safety of her son, who is currently in her temporary custody following her alleged domestic violence against ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson.
The actress shook the internet to its core when she filed for a restraining order against the fitness instructor, accompanied by visual evidence of her baby daddy allegedly showing him physically assaulting her.
Keke Palmer Goes Together With Baby Leo Amidst Custody Battle
Palmer was seen in public for the first time since the news broke with her son, Leo, after a court granted her temporary sole custody. The actress held her baby boy tightly as she was seen on set in West Hollywood in a red costume and smiled as she posed for a quick selfie.
Plamer soon handed Leo over to another woman who was thought to be his nanny and continued filming. The “True Jackson” actor received an outpouring of love and support from his fans over the weekend, and he even received fresh bouquets on set.
The flowers, which consisted of about 50-100 roses sent by local business, La Fleur Eclose, had the words “My Queen” inscribed with a small crown decoration. Palmer became emotional when she read the contents of the card that came with the floral arrangement, per TMZ.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the Nickelodeon star accused her ex-boyfriend of “beating her” and “throwing her on the couch” while also breaking into her home to physically assault her.
The actor went on to say that there have been many incidents of aggression in their relationship, with one recent incident last weekend involving their son, which he described as the last. The charge reads:
“Destroyed my personal possessions, including my diary and prescription glasses, threw my belongings in the street, threw away my car keys to prevent me from driving, hit me in front of our son, spewed obscenities about me to our son, threatened to commit suicide. with a gun if I leave him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.”
Palmer added that Jackson stole her phone when she threatened to call the police and asked the court to order him to stay 100 yards away from her and their son.
Jackson’s alleged actions were all caught on surveillance video of Palmer’s home, which he submitted as evidence. He also detailed another scenario of September 26, 2023, when Jackson lashed out at Leo. In his words:
“I was worried about Leo’s safety after Darius got really upset with him when Leo cried when Darius changed his nappy. Darius started being physically abusive to Leo, and I stepped in to make sure Darius wasn’t going to hurt him.”
She claims that it became a struggle between her and Jackson, and when she finally let go so she could finish changing his diaper, Jackson hit her on the head and left the room.

The “Perfect Harmony” singer said she finally developed the strength to leave the relationship after the birth of Leo, as she described him as “the most important thing in the whole world to me.” She also demanded that a judge issue an order preventing “child abduction” and that Jackson only get visitation after her written consent.

Palmer’s Mother Slams The Jackson Brothers
Palmer is not alone in all of this as her mother, Sharon Palmer, lent her voice on social media to defend her daughter after Jackson’s older brother went rogue. Sarunas Jackson posted a now-deleted tweet attacking the SNL star, prompting a rebuttal from Sharon. A tweet from Sarunas read:
“The most disgusting, vile, abusive, manipulative person I have EVER met in my entire life… Abuses almost everyone… You will all see.. Send positive energy to the baby.. Any child in the middle of- in the middle of something like this doing it is not worth it at all. Wow, really sad.”
Sharon took to Instagram and warned Sarunas not to twist the narrative to support her abusive brother and added that the “Insecure” actress had no idea about her brother’s abusive tendencies. In his words:
“I have never done anything like this. I have been in this business for 22 years. I’ve seen many things, but this is—I can’t help myself. For Sarunas Jackson to post on his Twitter the ridiculous things he posted when he knew his brother was abusive.”
He reveals that Sarunas is part of the problem because he doesn’t respect women and shouldn’t try to “disrupt” his family, adding that he won’t accept lies.
