However, Palmer’s legal team requested a delay by filing a Stipulation and Order to continue the Court Order To Participate in Mediation, which was initially set for November 29, and a request for a Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) scheduled for December 5.
The reason cited was to give the parties time to attend mediation and mutually agree on a new date for both proceedings. The filing also includes a copy of Palmer’s temporary restraining order, which is attached to demonstrate proper service of the interested parties involved.
Mediation by a neutral third party is to facilitate the negotiation of a mutually acceptable solution to their ongoing conflict. After complying with the court’s request to file the necessary documents, the presiding judge, Michelle Kazadi, signed the documents on November 30.
