Kelly Rizzo Remembers Late Husband With ‘Little Bob Thoughts’

Almost everything reminds Kelly Rizzo of her late husband, Bob Saget.

Every day that passes since the death of the “Full House” alum, his wife keeps memories of him. A few thoughts about the late comedian kept crossing Rizzo’s mind.

Among the few things that Rizzo misses about her late husband is her ability to cook for him.

Kelly Rizzo Remembers Late Husband, Bob Saget’s Best Meal

The TV host took to her Instagram story, sharing a recipe for a dish she would love to make for her partner if he were still alive.

Captioning the clip “Bob thoughts,” the TV host shared his recent thoughts on the late actor. She said, “So I had a funny Bob thought a few seconds ago, the recipe I just posted about spring bean mint and Burrata pasta. I was like; he’s going to love this because he loves beans, like Bob is obsessed with beans.

She continued, “I make it for her like almost every meal. She just loves peanuts. I’m like, oh my God, She’s going to love this, and I’m like, wait, she hates mint, and then I found out later she said she hates lemon. So I was like, oh wait, maybe he’s going to hate this.”

Although the late comedian didn’t like mints and limes, Rizzo explained that he had a way of tricking him into eating foods he didn’t like.

He recalled his unique trick saying, “But if I give it to him and don’t tell him that mint and lemon are in it, then he will like it because I have done that many times. I want to trick him and tell him that the things he doesn’t like are not there.

At the end of his narration, Rizzo sadly highlights that he misses cooking for his man. He stated, “If only I would have made it for him.”

The travel blogger detailed the dish’s recipe in a previous Instagram story post. The ingredients include pasta, fresh English peas, a handful of fresh mint, a package of burrata, 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1/2 lemon juice.

Another thing Rizzo admits she misses about her husband is his smile. He recalled the man’s smile with a photo from earlier that month.

In the picture, the happy couple posed side by side while on the red carpet of an event. The blogger rocked red pants and a matching jacket, adding a black undershirt, while the deceased Grammy nominee wore a black suit and pants.

Both were smiling, and Rizzo gushed about his late partner’s smile in the caption. She wrote, “His smile is the BEST.”

‘Eat Travel Rock’ Host Opens Up About Why She’s Selling Her And Her Late Husband’s House

Although the media personality still cherishes her man’s memory, she sold the home she shared with the late Saget more than a year after his death.

While this may come as a surprise to others, the media personality, who is still reeling from the loss of her partner, explained her reasons for selling the house during an episode of the “Tamron Hall Show.”

Rizzo began by noting that even though he no longer lived in the former home, his new home still had Saget’s presence. He said, “If you come into my new house. I mean, there’s pictures of him everywhere. I’d say it’s like a shame about Bob’s museum, but you know he’s still everywhere.”

Explaining his decision to sell Rizzo recounts the lessons he learned from grief. She stated, “Recently I’ve learned about sadness that something about the home you share can sometimes be very triggering and can be even though you have great memories there, even if it’s such a positive experience, like that.”

He added, “I mean, he loved our house – and it’s a positive memory, but there’s something about when someone passes, the house itself can be a situation. So that’s why it’s so nice to get a fresh start.”

Per PEOPLE, the sale of the former couple’s Brentwood mansion was handled by family agent Adam Saget and sold for $5.4 million after first being listed for $7.765 million last June.
