The “Peter Pan” singer took to Instagram as her recent tour came to a close.
“I have been touring in several capacities for the past nine years. From radio tours to being the opening act on more tours than I can count with my own handful of headliners. This latest show is my favorite I’ve ever played,” he began.
Ballerini later thanked her fans for “showing up” and for their support during this difficult time in her life. “The way you all show up and bring a constant wave of festive energy and chaos but also the security to get a big feeling every night is truly magical,” he wrote. “From ‘Love Me Like You Mean It’ to ‘Penthouse’, the screams between us were SO LOUD… like piercings,, like I had to take my monitor out every night and feel panicky.”
The “Miss Me More” singer recently went through a very public divorce with country singer Morgan Evans, but her fans have stood by her side, supporting her every step of the way.
“Thank you for the breath of fresh air in these rooms, for letting me be in a silly mood between songs, for appreciating my band and crew, for waiting in line hours before, for signs and custom t-shirts hand, and progressively more unhinged ‘HYPOTHETICALLY IF YOU EVER KILLED YOUR HUSBAND’,” the singer gushes.

“I can’t wait to perform in a few days with my hometown hero @kennychesney and then return for the final round of this first show (almost sold out) later this summer,” he continued to write in his Instagram post before ending with, “big big big love. ?”

Kelsea Ballerini first announced her split from husband Morgan Evans after five years together.
“This extremely difficult decision is the result of a journey of love, growth and effort that has finally come to an end,” Ballerini said in a statement last year. “It’s hard to find the words here … but I feel so grateful for all these years of marriage to Morgan and look forward to the next season.”
When speaking with PEOPLE about her recent divorce, Kelsea Ballerini said the decision was “not chaotic” or “uncertain,” ultimately saying “It didn’t work out.” He said:
“That’s sometimes a hard narrative to think about when you’re just like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is a good person and I’m a good person and this is not good anymore’. It’s easy to embarrass yourself and easy to hide, and I just want to be proud of myself in 10 years in this season of my life. This is not only a difficult time in my life, it is also a festive time in my life. I don’t want to hide it because that’s important to feel.”
Ballerini has been vulnerable, showing her emotions in every show she plays. In fact, during a recent concert, the “Legends” singer broke down during her newly released powerful song, “What I Have.” Realizing that Ballerini can’t sing, the fans take over and sing the lyrics to her loudly as she continues to play the guitar. At one point, the country music singer turned and faced away from the crowd, raised her hands to her eyes and wiped away tears.
