Apparently “Jeopardy!” Tournament of Champions winner Ken Jennings is feeling a bit of impostor syndrome now that Stephen Fry has been tapped to host the ITV reboot of “Jeopardy!”.
“The Chase” trivia guru and “The Big Bang Theory” alum Mayim Bialik has taken on hosting duties to fill in for late host Alex Trebek after he passed away in November 2020.
However, it was Fry who would put a “modern spin” on “Jeopardy!” when it comes to ITV with a little change.

Over the weekend, Deadline reported that ITV had ordered a 20-part daytime TV series featuring the same question-and-answer format as the one in the US However, there will be a slight twist.
Although “Jeopardy!” fans in the US are used to the standard two game rounds, there will be three game rounds in the ITV UK reboot of the classic game show.
Fans in the US only started getting used to the three-round format after it was introduced on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” last year. “Danger!” The spin-off is also hosted by Mayim Bialik.

“Jeopardy!” first appeared on Channel 4 in the UK in the late 1980s and went to ITV and Sky in the 1990s. In a press release, ITV said that Fry will bring a “modern twist to the cult classic.”
In his own statement, Fry said, “In the United States, Danger! is a different phenomenon. Whenever I’m in America, I make an effort to catch it every weekday. The idea of hosting it in the UK makes me giddy with joy. A dedicated quiz nation like ours, I hope, welcomes this unique and endlessly rewarding game.”
ITV Head of Entertainment Katie Rawcliffe added, “There is no one better to host this classic game show than Stephen, who brings knowledge and entertainment to all our viewers.”

A day after the news was announced, the trivia expert took to Twitter to joke about Stephen Fry’s new hosting position.
Ken tweeted“Nothing gives you impostor syndrome like sharing a job description with Stephen Fry…”
However, many fans were quick to assure Ken that he did a great job filling the role left by the great Alex Trebek and told him that he was “perfect” for the “Jeopardy!” host.

Looks like fans can’t wait to watch Ken Jennings host for a long time! In January 2023, Deadline reported that both “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” has been renewed for five more seasons, which means both shows will run through 2028!
