Keri Russell dramatically revealed her feelings about the big chop haircut that angered fans of the show.

Americans the actor was candid about how lucky he was to have the Disney days in his past. He claimed that his life as Mouseketeer might have been more complicated if he had not “made it out alive” after being selected for the position and remained in the role from 1991 to 1994.
He shared with W Magazine that the experience was not terrible but could have been better. When asked if he “saved anything from your time on the show?” he said, “My sanity, my dignity. Not everyone gets out alive.”
It’s not all bad for Keri, though. He shared that he still has friends from the show and considers himself lucky that he doesn’t have enough talent, but he does.

He called Ilana [Miller] and Lindsey [Alley], his former co-star’s best friend. Plus, he witnessed the rising talent of some of today’s biggest pop stars.
“I was there when there were a lot of famous kids. And I say this honestly: I’m the least talented one there. I’m not joking. When I saw those kids, I was like, why in the world did they pick me? Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling, and Britney Spears. It was wild.”
Russell also talked about some of his other big career moments, like cutting his hair while starring Felicity.

The actress can’t believe her career digs or how angry people are at her for cutting her hair.
“Then they cut my hair on the show. They were like, “Are you going to do it?” I was like, “Yeah.” Because the character is not known as this beautiful person. He is nerdy, the type of college student who is too emotional,” he thought at the time.
“And I thought, Of course, every one of my friends cut their hair. They’d break up with a guy and then get this horrible haircut. So I thought it was perfect. But it was wild. People were nervous about that haircut. Sorry. .”
Felicity was a huge career move for the actor, and he didn’t know it. Maybe if he knew the big deal, he wouldn’t agree to the action.

Russell only found out how great he and his performance were when awards season rolled around. When asked about a memorable red carpet moment, she said:
“The first thing I remember is Felicity. I was nominated and had no idea what the Golden Globes were. They said, “Well, you have to wear something fancy.” So someone dressed me,” she recalls.
“I remember them doing my hair and makeup, and I was like, “No, no, no. It’s best if you don’t wear makeup. Then I won’t look like me.” I looked at the picture, and I had mascara on maybe, my cheeks and my crazy wild curls. It’s very different now.”
