Traci Braxton, sister of singer Toni Braxton, passed away on March 11, 2022. According to TMZ, Traci had been fighting cancer for a year but died suddenly.
Toni confirmed the news of his sister’s death through an IG post. He wrote, “It is with great regret that we inform you of the passing of our sister, Traci. Needless to say, she was a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and a respected entertainer. We will miss him very much.”
Toni concluded, “Traci passed this morning as the snow fell, our angels are now snowflakes. We ask that you respect our privacy as we plan to send him home lovingly, celebrating his life. We are family forever.”
Traci is married to Kevin Surratt Sr. They tied the knot on August 31, 1996.
On her 24th birthday in August 2020, Traci wrote on her Instagram, “Happy 24th Birthday# Best Friend!!! @sirratt23 love you……..”. Meanwhile, on Valentine’s Day 2022, Kevin said goodbye to his wife and stated that they had been together for 29 years.
