Khloe Kardashian must be in need of an extra source of income now that she’s a mother of two… or at least that’s the impression she’s been giving fans on social media.
The reality TV star recently shared a video of her and her BFF, Malika Haqq, promoting Boxbollen.
Khloe’s Latest #AD Draws Criticism
MEGA
“Boxbollen is absolutely the best, it’s so much fun. You don’t want to miss out. This is a must-have vacation,” Khloe said in an Instagram video.
He captioned the post, “I had so much fun playing @boxbollen! ? Hari Raya is mandatory for all ages. Order now at Boxbollen.com or check @boxbollen. #AD.”
Of course, his famous family and friends showed support for him in the comments section, but others were completely unimpressed with #AD.
Is Khloe Hurting For Money?
“The first and last time this will be played,” said one unimpressed fan.
“He’s lying, he just wants the check,” commented another.
This fan wrote, “All for the money and not for the kids.”
“Is Khloe sick of money? What’s with all the ads?” another asked.
Others are totally PO’d with Khloe considering she hasn’t said anything about the recent Balenciaga scandal.
Why Doesn’t Khloe Speak Out About The Balenciaga Scandal???
“Stop with the commercials and talk at BALENCIAGA!!! YOU SHOULD BE ZAT’S SISTER!!!!!!” one person angrily wrote.
“Are you going to talk about Balenciaga and condemn child exploitation the way you are so quick to speak out against Kanye West??? How about you, Kris Jenner?” another asked.
This person wrote, “What if it’s not an ad to all of us ‘common people’ who are broke. You talk about Balenciaga…”
Explosion recently reported the fashion label’s apology.
“We would like to address the controversy surrounding our Ad campaign recently. We strongly condemn child abuse; we never intended to include it in our narrative. The two separate ad campaigns in question reflect a series of serious mistakes for which Balenciaga is responsible,” the statement said. “The first campaign, a giveaway campaign, features a child with a plush bear bag dressed in what some have labeled as BDSM-inspired clothing. Our plush bear bags and gift collection should not be displayed with children. This was a wrong choice by Balenciaga, combined with our failure to evaluate and verify the image. The responsibility for this rests with Balenciaga alone.”
Barstool Sports personality and host Kevin Clancy shared a video in which he called out the fashion brand for using the “United States v. Williams” legal document in an ad.
A 2008 court case encouraged legalizing child pornography.
“A second, separate campaign for spring 2023, which aims to mimic a business office environment, includes a photo with a page in the background from the 2008 ‘United States v. Williams’ Supreme Court decision that invalidated and was not protected by free speech the promotion of child pornography – children,” continued their statement.
Balenciaga blames third parties for making “props.”
“All items included in this shoot are provided by a third party who confirms in writing that these props are fake office documents. They turned out to be real legal papers most likely from the filming of a television drama. The entry of these unapproved documents is the result of reckless negligence for which Balenciaga has filed a complaint,” he said. “We take full responsibility for our lack of oversight and control over internal documents. background and we can do things differently.”
Balenciaga said it will learn from their mistakes and identify ways it can contribute.
