While the star may be best known for her appearances on her family’s hit TV series and her unique beauty and fashion ventures, many argue that her true passion lies in prison reform and justice. Still, others might consider the 41-year-old a multitasker as he recently teamed up with Spotify to shed some light or bring justice to the 28-year-old’s case.

Kim Kardashian Signs Crime Podcast Deal With Spotify
Kardashian is looking to put her career in law to real-life use as she delves into the world of podcasts, PEOPLE reports. The 41-year-old businesswoman will narrate an original series centered on the story of Keith from Ohio, who was arrested and charged with a triple murder in 1994.
In the show “Kim Kardashian’s The System: The Case of Kevin Keith,” the convicted man’s brother, Charles, has maintained his innocence since his arrest. The description of the series reads:
“There is no exclusively binding physical evidence [Kevin] to the crime, yet he has spent 28 years of his life in prison, with most of them being executed. Kevin’s brother, Charles, has always been convinced of his innocence, and to this day, works tirelessly to clear Kevin’s name.”

The description added that while the “KUWTK” star is known for advocating for prison reform, she has taken her work to the next level by making sure to expose the cracks in the criminal justice system in the new series.

The caption also reads, “Over eight episodes, Kim and the team will dive deep into the case, raise important questions, and attempt to shed light on an often intentionally confusing legal system.”
Although the law says “innocent until proven guilty,” it raises questions about whether Keith was given a fair sentence during the trial. The audience is asked to draw conclusions from the heartbreaking, convoluted and most unbelievable story.
The founder of “SKIMS” also mentioned in the trailer of the series that law enforcement officers never question the accused. It then offers audio of Keith insisting he is innocent and others saying they know he is guilty.

He added that there is a lot to explore and it is his responsibility to take the audience with him as he explores different possibilities. The reality star emphasized that she does not want to influence their thinking but asks for an open mind.
The series collaborates with two organizations; Color of Change — the nation’s largest online racial justice organization, and Calling All Crows — an activism organization currently running a campaign to raise awareness about the effects of mass incarceration. Their collective goal is to bring criminal justice reform into the podcast conversation.
