The theme of this year’s Met Gala is a celebration of Lagerfeld’s legacy, an event the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star attended in style. Following her appearance at the prestigious fashion event, the California native reflected on her time with the late fashion designer.
In an Instagram Story update, the TV personality shared photos taken during her pregnancy with North. One of the pictures captures a blurry photoshoot scene where the late German designer can be seen in the background.
The photographer rocked her famous white hair in a ponytail, dressed in an all-black ensemble with matching black shades. The 85-year-old stood on a cabinet next to famous momager Kris Jenner, who focused on her daughter.
Meanwhile, Kardashian sat in front of a black backdrop as two men fussed over her outfit. Opening up about what made this photo special, the SKIMS founder wrote: “My first ever fashion shoot with Utara in my belly. I gave birth a few weeks after this.”
The 42-year-old explained that Lagerfeld took the photos, Riccardo Tisci served as the photoshoot’s art director, and Carine Roitfeld was the stylist. A clearer picture of the big day is seen in the next slide, where the shapewear entrepreneur poses in front of a large display of books.
The pregnant model wore a black bra, showing off her well-endowed figure and rapidly growing baby bump. The all-black look was completed with a matching jacket and pants that adorned the black sofa he was wearing.

Paparazzi spotted North leaving the Mark Hotel with her mother in a stylish ensemble. For the Metropolitan Museum of Art event, the young lady wore a plain white T-shirt, tucking the ends into a pair of distressed blue jeans.
She completed the modern chic look with a vintage pale pink Chanel blazer designed with matching pearls. The eldest Kardashian-West son accessorized his evening outfit with the luxury brand’s black boots and clamshell clutch, which his mom revealed a few days earlier at the 2023 Time 100 Gala.

Since 2018, the annual fashion event has declared that its participants must be eighteen years of age or older to participate in the bash. Although she couldn’t physically be there, North was a guest at the gala when her mother was pregnant at the 2013 event.
As with her previous appearances, Kardashian did not disappoint as she flaunted her enviable figure in a custom Schiaparelli haute couture design. The founder of SKIMS rocked a silk corset and bra under a strap of over 50,000 freshwater pearls and 16,000 crystal pearls.
Opening up about her dress, which reportedly took a dozen artisans a thousand hours to make, the TV personality explained that she wanted something that reminded people of Lagerfeld.
“I want pearls. I thought, ‘What else, Karl?’ You know, the iconic Chanel pearl is something I always think about. So we just want to drop pearls,” the mother of four admitted.
