King Charles III has made a rare appearance, attending church with Queen Camilla for the first time since starting her cancer treatment. The royal couple made their way to St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk, waving to photographers and people.
Charles was recently diagnosed with cancer, although the true nature of his health scare has not been revealed. Speculation was rife about her appointing a state councilor to take over in her absence, but sources recently revealed that will not happen as she does not want to put that kind of pressure on her children.

According to reports, King Charles looked happy as he attended church at the Sandringham Estate Chapel with Queen Camilla by his side.
The royals were greeted by the Reverend Canon Paul Williams as he waved to over 100 onlookers and wished them well.
Dressed in his traditional long brown coat and using an umbrella as a cane, the king walked at his usual brisk pace as he made his way to the church. Camilla wore a white jacket and a black hat.
The crowd, who gathered to show their support for the royal couple, watched from behind locked gates, as sources said King Charles “looked like he was doing really well.”

Buckingham Palace released a statement on Saturday in which Charles addressed his recent cancer diagnosis for the first time, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of support from the public.
The monarch offered her “heartfelt thanks” to the British public for their “many messages of support and well wishes” just days after she was reunited with Prince Harry.
“I would like to express my sincere thanks for the many messages of support and well wishes I have received recently,” the note signed by Charles read.
“As everyone who has been affected by cancer will know, good thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement,” it continued. “It’s equally great to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped to promote public understanding and highlight the work of all the organizations that support cancer patients and their families across the UK and the wider world.”
The statement added, “My lifelong admiration for their tireless care and dedication is even greater as a result of my own personal experience.”

Sources familiar with the “workaholic” king’s routine have explained the seemingly therapeutic activities as he embarks on his recovery journey. Charles has been based at his beautiful Norfolk estate as he continues to recover from his knee surgery in January.
According to Daily Mailsources stated that the King will most likely enjoy two of his favorite pastimes – walking and water painting – while doing something he doesn’t usually do – relaxing.
Despite canceling all public appearances, the insider joked that he would complete his “red box” of paperwork “before he eats his hard-boiled eggs in the morning.”
A friend said: “Boredom will be one of the hardest things for him.”
Another source close to the King stated that he will likely spend some of his time listening to his favorite records of the late Canadian singer Leonard Cohen, particularly the poetic track “Take This Waltz.”
Queen Camilla Is The King’s Pillar Of Strength

A Buckingham Palace insider has explained the key role Queen Camilla played in the monarch’s recovery efforts, stating that she was “the strength and stay” as Prince Philip was for the late Queen Elizabeth II, according to Daily Mail.
“He is his strength and remains so [Prince Philip] is for the late Queen. He will be great. He will rally him, he will buoy him. He is amazing. He equips him to do the work he needs to do,” the insider said.
Camilla’s message that Charles is “doing very well” can be taken at face value as sources say she is open to a limited number of face-to-face meetings.
It comes after he held one such meeting with his estranged son Harry last week after news first broke of his health concerns. Sources said the couple had a “brief meeting” before the King and Camilla were taken to Buckingham Palace, where a helicopter was waiting to take them back to Sandringham.
