Harington appeared in his first public panel since 2019, when “Game of Thrones” ended. During a panel at HBO’s fan convention, the actor was asked if he still talks or is close to any of his other castmates. Harington explained that, just like leaving school, there is still a bond between him and the rest of the cast.
“Kind of going out of school right? You have such a strong bond between people in this one thing, and then it ends,” the actor said via Insider. “There’s a deep sadness because you know you won’t be in the group of people who have that shared experience again. The magic of it is gone, and you have to let it go.”
Harrington explained that as actors, this is a common occurrence for them as they constantly have to move from one job and one crew to another. “But you hold on to relationships, and some of those relationships may be unexpected,” he added.
Kit Harington And Emilia Clarke ‘Very Close’
MEGAHarington and Clarke work together in “Game of Thrones” as Daenerys and Snow. They were part of the main cast of the hit HBO series and one of the few that actually made it to last season, even though Clarke’s character was killed off and by Harington no less.
However, on the topic of his castmates, the actor revealed that he was not very close to Clarke during the filming of “Game of Thrones,” but since the series ended, they have become good friends. He said, “I don’t think Emilia and I were that close during the show because we were always apart.”
Harington continued, per Insider, “But now, since the show ended, we’ve become very close. Emilia is very good friends with Rose, and she lives across the street, so she always plays with my son. We’re really close, me and Clarke.”
Kit Harington And Rose Leslie Met On The Set Of ‘Game Of Thrones’
MEGAHarington talked about Ben Proctor, who played Dolorous Edd in the HBO series, and described him as one of his “favorite people in the world.” The actress also revealed that she has recently been in contact with Liam Cunningham (Davos), Kristofer Hivju (Tormund), and John Bradley West (Sam).
“Game of Thrones” didn’t just give Harington a new friend; the actor also met his wife on the set of the series. Rose Leslie, who played Ygritte, Snow’s love interest, was killed off in season four. The actress continued to see Harington after her time on set ended and married in 2018.
The wedding was held in Scotland and had several “Game of Thrones” characters in attendance, including Clarke. The couple welcomed their first child in 2018.

According to recent reports, a sequel to “Game of Thrones” may be in the works. A story on this matter was previously published by James Hibberd for Hollywood Reporterand while Harington didn’t admit it during the Los Angeles panel, George RR Martin confirmed the news.
The author of “A Song of Ice and Fire” released a blog post in June of this year in which he revealed that published reports were “largely correct” and that a sequel was in fact in development. “Yes, there is a Jon Snow plan in development. The Hollywood Reporter story is largely correct. And I expect nothing less from James Hibberd,” he wrote.
Martin revealed that “Snow” was the working title for the show; however, not much else can be said about the topic without HBO’s approval. “I can’t tell you the names of the writers/hosts because they haven’t been cleared for airing yet,” shared the writer.
“But Kit brought them too, his own team, and they were great.”
