Kris Jenner Reveals She Was Distraught By Blac Chyna’s Lawsuit: ‘Spiritually Exhausting’

Business mogul Kris Jenner has revealed she feels really disturbed about her legal battle with Blac Chyna at the time.

On Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians,” the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, who has traditionally served as an agent for her children, said she felt “emotionally, physically and spiritually” drained by the trial.

Chyna filed a lawsuit against the Kardashian family in 2017, alleging that they used their influence to coerce her E! to cancel her show “Rob and Chyna” with her ex-partner Rob Kardashian. He claims this cost him millions of dollars in social media appearances and promotions.

The Kardashian-Jenner family eventually won the lawsuit. After the hearing, Kris said she was relieved it was all over.

In the latest episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” Kris is seen spending time with her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, who recently welcomed her second and first child with partner Travis Scott.

Later in the confessional, she shared that her worries about her legal battle against her ex-son prevented her from truly enjoying bonding moments with her daughter and new baby.

“It’s always so special spending time with Kylie, but we’re also facing these trials,” Kris said in the episode, which aired on Thursday, every Many people.

He added: “Blac Chyna sued myself, Khloé [Kardashian]Kylie and Kim [Kardashian] for defamation of character and interference with character. “As a mother, I’m very protective of my children, and on top of that, it’s really exhausting,” she continued. “It’s emotionally, physically and spiritually exhausting to go through this.”

The model argued at the time that she missed out on millions of dollars earned from related appearances and social media posts.

The summons was read in part through Vice. “[They] made several false statements about [Chyna] to E! network executive and executive producer Rob & Chyna, including that [Chyna] physically abused defendant Rob Kardashian.”

A Judge Dismisses the Claim

Thursday’s episode of “Kardashians” was filmed before the lawsuit went to court in April 2022. A week later, jurors reached a verdict that the Kardashian-Jenner family did not hinder the mother of two’s career, and as a result, Chyna was not awarded monetary damages .

“I think the case is very clear. The jury got it,” Kardashian-Jenner family attorney Michael Rhodes said in a statement after the verdict, per E!. “I spoke to the family a minute ago, and they are very happy as well.”

Chyna and all the lawyers were there for the verdict, while the Kardashian-Jenner family was absent, opting to attend the Met Gala in New York. Chyna’s attorney Lynne Ciani said at the time that her client intended to challenge part of the judgment. The appeal has not been submitted yet.

Kris Jenner ‘Glad It’s Over’

With the decision ending in favor of the Kardashian-Jenner family, Kris was seen in high spirits when Diversity met him on the Met Gala 2022 red carpet. The momager expressed her delight with the jury’s decision to the magazine, saying she was relieved she would no longer be subject to an emotional toll from the magazine.

Kris identified the stress of court proceedings in general as “the hardest part” of the trial before adding she was “glad it’s over.”

He went on to say that he uses prayer as a coping mechanism. Kris said, “I live my faith,” he said. “And hope that’s enough, and it is. I’m glad it’s over, and I’m glad it’s over for the girls.”
