Birth & Early Life

Krishna was born on 1 August 1981 in Chennai. He grew up in New Delhi and completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Later, he went to Birla Institute of Technology, Noida. Krishna also attended an acting course from the Asian Academy of Film & Television in Noida.

Career

After completing his studies in New Delhi, he flew to Chennai and started acting. In 2003, Krishna started his career while appearing in the Tamil TV serial Sahana as Sanjay. Later, he got the lead role in the TV series Chidambara Rahasiyam where Krishna played the role of Someshwaran. The serial airs on Sun TV and the story revolves around a young journalist Somu who works for Neithal Magazine in Chennai.

Krishna made his debut in the Tamil Film Industry with the romantic comedy Azhagiya Asura in which he appeared as Sanjay in 2006. Krishna also worked in the mystery film Anadhapurathu Veedu where he played the negative role of Jeeva.

Krishna later appeared in the television series Sivasankari as Rudhran which aired on Sun TV. The series is based on religion, where there is a war between people who believe in god and those who don’t care about the concept itself.

Krishna gained popularity for his performance in the drama serial Deivamagal as Prakash opposite Vani Bhojan produced by Srinivasan.

Krishna grabbed headlines for his work in the Tamil TV series Thalattu as VijayKrishnan, produced by Shankar Venkataramanv. The series revolves around Vijay whose mother abandoned him for unknown reasons when he was a child. Although Vijay is now a father himself, he misses his love.
