No one knows better than Kristin Cavallari how it feels to be chased by Diddy.
According to the fashion designer, the rapper made constant attempts to date her when she was younger, but she turned him down because she didn’t suit his preferences. Years later, he reveals his relief that he avoided a potentially problematic situation.

Cavallari’s experiences, while not abuse, had a lot to say about the music mogul during Tuesday’s episode of the “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, claiming that he had gone to great lengths to woo her.
She insists that Diddy went so far as to shower her with Valentine’s Day gifts in an effort to get a date. As he detailed:
“I’m 22, I believe, we have mutual friends, he got my number, whatever. He sent the biggest bouquet of flowers I’ve ever seen. The biggest box of chocolates I’ve ever seen. A huge teddy bear.”
The former “Laguna Beach” star also claimed that Diddy sent DeLeón his bottle of tequila as part of his efforts to woo her, saying:
“I mean, it was like, ‘Holy s—t.’ I mean, multiple people brought s—t into my house. It’s like you see in the movies.”
The record executive, now 54, reportedly told Cavallari that he had a “TV crush” on her and expressed his desire to ask her out, an offer she ultimately declined.
Despite not accepting Diddy’s invitation, the now 37-year-old admitted that she found the attention tempting. In his words:
“I mean, obviously there’s a part where you’re like, ‘Wow, this guy is ruining my feelings.’ Like that’s so sweet, and I’ve never met this guy.”
Reflecting on the situation, however, Cavallari has seen the grand gesture as a “red flag,” enthusiastically adding, “That was kind of love bombing s—t” and that he “dodged an af——g bullet.”
The television personality shared that even though she made it clear that he wasn’t interested in dating her, Diddy repeatedly asked her out. Elaborating on his stance on rejecting it, Cavallari told his co-host, Justin Anderson:
“I can’t go on a date with someone because it’s so-and-so. I’ve always been attracted to you… I don’t want to be arm candy.”
The revelation comes two months after Diddy spoke about numerous lawsuits filed by several women who alleged rape and sex trafficking against him. Taking to social media to share the title of “Enough is Enough,” the Grammy Award winner told her followers:
“For the past few weeks, I have sat quietly and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and legacy. Hurtful accusations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the alleged bad things. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.”

Another man’s name was on Cavallari’s lips during a mid-December episode of his podcast when he talked about narcissists with his guest Dr. Sherrie Campbell.
The emotional session, titled “Surviving Narcissist Abuse,” saw the host reflect on the self-centered behavior of her father, Dennis Cavallari. Uncommon founder James revealed:
“I cut my dad out of my life about two years ago, which was honestly the best thing I ever did. I actually didn’t realize that my father was a narcissist until I was an adult.”
Although he did not reveal the specific actions that led to the rift in their relationship, he emphasized that the decision was long overdue. Kristin recalls her father’s emotional abuse as a child, feeling inadequate in his eyes.
Although his actions made her dislike being around him, Cavallari remembers her father’s ability to manipulate her emotions. He said:
“But instead, sometimes he would put me on this pedestal and talk me down. Now, as an adult looking back, I’m like, ‘Oh, it was when it benefited you and made you look good.'”
