Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s controversial name for their son may have something to do with their firstborn, Stormi.
When the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star had her second child with her boyfriend in February 2022, the parents named their son Wolf Webster. However, the former couple eventually decided the moniker didn’t suit their little angel.
Besides keeping fans guessing about their child’s name, the couple protected her privacy by only sharing glimpses of her legs and other body parts without showing her face.
Now, Kylie has dropped the much-anticipated face reveal along with her baby boy’s name. Like her older sister Stormi, the TV personality’s joy is the epitome of cuteness, but there’s more to the siblings’ connection than their similarities. Keep scrolling for more details!

Finding the right name for a child is not easy. It not only represents parents’ hopes for their offspring, but it is also a stamp to separate children from the crowd.
Given the significance behind the name, it’s understandable why Jenner and Scott took the time to name their second child. However, the best things require patience, and the parents’ endurance resulted in a unique name.
On Saturday, the “Life Of Kylie” star finally made the big reveal and revealed that her son’s new name is Aire. As expected, the unusual name caught the attention of fans, but sources explained why they chose the unique name.
An insider told HollywoodLife that the reality TV star and rapper named their son “Aire” to compliment their daughter’s name and its significance in the Semitic language. In the words of the source:
“Kylie and Travis chose the name ‘Aire’ for a number of reasons. One is that it goes well with the elemental name they chose for their first child, Stormi. It seems appropriate. In Hebrew, the name translates to Lion of God. It symbolizes strength and courage.”
According to The Blast, despite taking eleven months to share her son’s new name, the entrepreneur softened the long wait with a photo of the baby’s face for the first time. The California native updated her Instagram page with four precious photos of Kar-Jenner’s second youngest grandchild.

The first is a mirror selfie that captures the makeup mogul rocking a cropped hoodie while carrying Aire in one hand. Another photo is a close-up of the 11-month-old, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother’s younger self with big eyes, a cute little nose, and rosy pink lips.
The last two slides capture mother and child bonding, while the final image shows the baby sitting in a high chair with traces of food smeared on his bib. These cute pictures were captured with a white heart emoji and the word “AIRE.”
As you know, the businesswoman and her ex-boyfriend welcomed their son on February 2, 2022. A few days after his birth, the proud mother of two publicly shared her son’s name Wolf Webster. However, the “Life of Kylie” star corrected her statement a few weeks later, revealing the former couple had dropped the term “Wolf.”
In an Instagram Story, the 25-year-old wrote, “FYI, OUR SON’S NAME IS NOT WOLF ANYMORE. WE JUST DON’T FEEL LIKE HIM. JUST WANT TO SHARE BECAUSE I KEEP SEEING WOLVES EVERYWHERE.”
Likewise, the media personality discussed the mystery surrounding her son’s name while filming her family’s Hulu series, “The Kardashians.” In the show, Jenner admitted that the name Wolf was suggested by her half-sister, Khloé Kardashian.
Surprising Theory Behind Kylie Cosmetics Founder’s Son’s Name
The Blast previously reported that Jenner’s announcement of her son’s new name sparked mixed reactions on social media. Some fans don’t know if the child’s nickname is pronounced “air or airey,” a question fan page @kyliesnapchat asked in a post.

Thankfully, Jenner noticed the upload and clarified that Aire was correctly pronounced “air” in the comments section. However, the confusion doesn’t end there! Since the mother of two hasn’t discussed the meaning behind her son’s name, there are various theories on the subject.
An interesting theory states that “Aire” could be short for “Billionaire.” For those unaware, the 25-year-old was previously named a self-made billionaire by Forbes before that status was revoked. However, this meaning is much better than what journalist Antoinette Lattouf revealed on Twitter.
The media personality wrote, “Umm should someone tell Kylie Jenner she named her son Aire which is a common Arabic expression for ‘my penis’ or what?” In light of the reporter’s shocking revelation, fans should take note of Aire’s last name change.
