Former NBA basketball star Lamar Odom is being sued for over $100,000 in credit card debt.
Court documents obtained by The Blast show he was charged in the state of California after allegedly failing to pay his credit card balance.

On Wednesday, The Blast obtained exclusive documents showing that a lawsuit has been filed against the NBA star in California Superior Court. The lawsuit was filed by Credit Corp Solutions, Citibank’s assignee. They claim that Odom owes them exactly $108,133.40.
In court documents, Citibank stated that they issued a credit card account to the 43-year-old former athlete, which was then used to make purchases. Although they claim that they sent him periodic billing statements for the credit account, they allege that Odom “defaulted in making the required payments.”

They say that the time Odom made a payment on the card was on January 4, 2019. They are not trying to cover any post-charge fees or interest on the card. They only want the full amount of the card refunded – $108,133.40 – but that’s not all.
While they are not seeking benefits, they are also seeking Lamar Odom to cover any costs associated with bringing the lawsuit, along with any other relief the Court deems just and proper.

In a recent Instagram post, he shared a photo with his wife and new partners and staff at the Odom Wellness Treatment Center in San Diego County. “God save me so I can save others,” she wrote in the post, describing herself as “very blessed.”

Odom previously revealed how his relationship with drugs “ruined” his marriage to the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star. The two got married in 2009 after dating for less than a month. However, in 2013, Khloé filed for divorce.
The divorce was put on hold after she overdosed and fell into a coma in 2015. It was a scary situation for both parties, but the divorce was finalized in 2016 and the two have since moved out.

Earlier this year, in a trailer for Odom’s documentary titled “Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians,” he revealed how addiction destroyed the couple’s relationship.
The former athlete told host Harvey Levin, via E! News, “Drugs are my girlfriend. I have a wife… and cocaine.”

She said that the reality star only knew about his drug use “for part of our marriage,” adding, “I had to tell her. We can’t hide it forever.”
He went on to say that Khloé was nothing but supportive during some of the worst parts of his addiction. “I mean, behind the scenes I put him through some s—,” he said. “The things you think you all know are crazy. But the stories you don’t know are really crazy.”
