Earlier that year, LaNisha went alone to the Norton Simon Museum, where she photographed the “first genuine smile” she’d had in a while. She recently posted the image on her Instagram Story, showing her beaming in a car as she flashed back in time in an attached message.

Recalling his first meeting with Brian, the professional photographer admits that his spirit told him not to go to the museum, but he continued, getting there early. When he arrives, a random car pulls up next to him in an empty parking lot, and two men step out; one of them is Brian.

“I didn’t know I was pregnant at the time,” she said. “But this was the day I got off the couch and decided to put myself first. This is me taking myself out on a date, lol. Realizing that the decision changed her life for the better, LaNisha continued:

In another Insta Story post, the 40-year-old wrote on a blank page, “I swear God knew what I needed before I did.” She didn’t end her narrative there but went on to post a picture of Brian on her Story, showing him in an art gallery with her back to the camera.

LaNisha wrote a candid note on the post where she called him “so sweet” when he came up to her at the Norton Simon museum. The couple talked for a few minutes during that time, and he asked if he could take his picture. He further wrote:

“I still don’t know what he really looks like until we meet again, lol – He doesn’t have a picture of himself on social media..but he does have his poetry, and I love it.”

After seeing his work, he encouraged her to share more of them to see, which he mentioned in his message, adding that he had been taking pictures of her every day since their first meeting.

Honoring the artist again, the art gallery owner shared a photo of him posing in front of the mural. He wrote in an update that it was the first time he saw a full face and a “beautiful” smile. Around the same time he posted on his Instagram Story, Brian also shared the same sentiment, as he captioned his post, “The day that changed my life.”

LaNisha’s revelation comes after she praised her friend for her support amid drama with her baby daddy. The Blast noted that she used her Story to upload a beautiful photo of Brian smiling while holding baby Onyx.

And in a brief message, she called him “so caring and supportive” while adding in an accompanying post that he’s been there every day, including “good days and bad days and everything in between.”

Despite the perceived drama between LaNisha and her baby daddy, she announced the birth of their child with a heartfelt family speech and powerful declaration. The 42-year-old expressed her awe at being given the privilege, along with her baby mama, to host “Angels on Earth.”

The media personality went on to promise to “protect, provide, guide, and love” her baby as she silenced the haters amid the celebratory moment. He vowed once again to love Onyx with all his heart, no matter what people thought, because he had stopped trying to define himself by society’s standards.

After imploring critics to direct their remarks to her, not her daughter or the “pure-souled” LaNisha, she urged the “Soul Plane” actress to enjoy her “moment of joyful motherhood.”
