Las Vegas strip club offers free lap dances to customers affected by MGM Resorts cyberattack

A strip club in Las Vegas is offering free lap dances to customers affected by the cyber attack at MGM Resorts.

Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in Las Vegas said it is offering free luggage storage and airport pick-up for people experiencing check-in delays, as well as free $1,200 platinum VIP memberships and lap dancing, according to TMZ.

Brittany Rose, the strip club’s general manager, told TMZ she wanted to take some of the pressure off customers and employees.

“Our hearts go out to both workers and tourists who have been affected by this terrible event. As members of the hospitality industry, we decided to do our part to help improve the guest experience during their visit to Las Vegas which in turn will reduce the stress on the workers who are so diligently dealing with the situation,” said Rose.

Nevada-based MGM Resorts International said in a Wednesday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it suffered a cyber attack.

The company experienced a computer outage on Monday that affected operations at several properties.

“MGM Resorts recently identified a cyber security issue affecting certain company systems,” an MGM spokesperson said in a statement. “Immediately after detecting the issue, we began an investigation with the help of a leading external cyber security expert. We have also notified law enforcement and are taking steps to protect our systems and data, including shutting down certain systems. Our investigation is ongoing, and we are working diligently to resolve the matter. The company will continue to implement measures to secure its business operations and take additional measures as appropriate.”
