Tayshia Adams recently sat down with US Weekly to promote her partnership with World Vision. While there, the 37-year-old discussed her breakup with Zac Clark, who proposed to Adams on “The Bachelorette,” and why she kept the details secret.
“He and I both know the truth and our position, and I have never actually said anything in the media about our relationship except [that] we are no longer together,” he told the magazine. “And I know people might think otherwise, but that’s the only statement we’ve ever given. I think it’s just something about maturity and how we decide to move on and yeah, at the end of the day, nobody else needs to know anything else.”
Zac Clark was Tayshia’s last man on “The Bachelorette” season, to which she told him in the finale, “There was a time in my life when I thought I was never going to get married, because of all the pain and sadness I’ve been through, and I reached a point the lowest. And I know I told you I loved you, but … it was more than that.”
“It’s this wild, wild love that I’ve tried so many reasons not to believe in, and you really made me believe that there’s no need for weakness, and that I deserve to be in love with a man who wins. do not run. You have really woken up my heart, and yes, it is real. I feel it too,” she concluded before Clark asked her to marry him.
The couple announced their separation in November 2021.

The 32-year-old explained what he learned from his experience as The Bachelorette.
“My biggest lesson [was] just to stay true to me and I think I did that,” he said. “I’m really proud of that and I feel like some people get caught up in the mix of everything and I think the best way — the best practice — is just to be you. And I think with that, all these things have come and it just finds you when you’re honest with yourself. So I think that’s my biggest lesson is to stay still and be grateful for everything.”

Rumors have spread that Tayshia Adams is dating a new man – a chef named Dorian. However, the 37-year-old set the record straight, and confirmed that at the moment, he is indeed single.
“People really want me to be in a relationship. … My biggest priority, actually, I’ve said it before, I know people don’t believe me, but it really works for me,” he explained.
“And just find yourself [way] in New York City, but also focus on what really makes me happy, which is my philanthropy and I also really love the fashion industry, [and] my fitness and mental health,” he concluded.
