The official autopsy of the late WWE Wrestler Sara Lee has confirmed the cause of her death as suicide. Documents state that Sara had high levels of alcohol, amphetamines and doxylamine in her system.
According to previous reports, Sara’s family suspected alcohol was an important factor in her death. Her mother, Terri Lee, announced Sara’s death in a Facebook post last year shocking wrestling fans.
Sara is survived by her husband, Cory James Weston (known professionally as Westin Blake), and three young children, Piper, Brady, and Case. Blake shared a tribute to his late wife on Instagram, calling her “an angel walking this earth.”

The official autopsy report from the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed Sara Lee’s cause of death. Post-mortem report, obtained by NBC Newsrevealed that the former wrestler died by suicide.
The document stated that Sara had high levels of alcohol and pills in her system and had also taken amphetamines and doxylamine. Sara’s body also had bruises on the head and other parts of the body which were also examined during the autopsy.
The report states that falling while drunk may cause bruising. follow TMZSara also had a “letter of intent” left where her body was found.

During a March interview with Many people Magazine, sources shared that Sara’s family suspected alcohol was a significant factor in her death. They revealed that the wrestler “drinks a lot [the night she died]” and her body was found by her husband, Cory James Weston.
The source said, “He [Westin] just got home from work in Orlando. He took the children somewhere and came back and found her. It was sudden.” They also explained that Sara was never “the person you would think would do this.” The insider added that “there was never any sign” of Weston or any of his family.

In October, Sara’s mother, Terri Lee, shocked the world by announcing her daughter’s death in a Facebook post. He stated that their entire family was “shocked” by Sara’s death and was working on funeral arrangements. However, the post did not mention the circumstances of Sara’s death.
Terri wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that we want to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus. We were all shocked, and the arrangement was incomplete. We ask that you respectfully allow our family to mourn. We all need prayer, especially [Sara’s husband] Cory and his kids.”

Following the news of her passing, WWE shared a post paying tribute to Sara. It read, “WWE is saddened to learn of Sara Lee’s passing. As a former “Tough Enough” winner, Lee inspires many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE sends its condolences to his family, friends and fans.”
With her death, Sara is survived by her husband and three children, five-year-old Piper, three-year-old Brady and 14-month-old Case. Weston is also a pro wrestler like Sara and fights under the ring name Westin Blake.

Blake shared an emotional tribute to his wife on Instagram days after her death. In the post, the pro wrestler called Sara an “angel walking this earth” and shared that he loved her from the first moment they were together. He described Sara as “beautiful, loving, strong, and very caring.”
Blake further wrote that Sara blessed him with “3 of the most beautiful children I can imagine.” She shared that she is more than just a mother and is also a “motivator, best friend, sister, daughter, aunt, the backbone of our family, and (my favorite), my wife.”
He also wrote that despite his loss, death will not erase the beautiful memories they created during their time together. Blake wrapped up the tribute with, “I can’t promise I’ll stop grieving, but I know now you’re free. I can’t thank you enough for giving me the best years of my life so far.”
