Lauren Boebert blames vaping, groping ‘slip up’ at ‘Beetlejuice’ show on ‘eccentric’ personality

Rep. Firebrand Lauren Boebert blamed her lively vaping behavior at a recent “Beetlejuice” performance on her “overly animated personality.”

“I’m too eccentric. I am very famous for my animated personality. Maybe too bold a personality,” the 36-year-old Colorado rabble-rouser told One America News Network.

Boebert and her date were booted from a Denver show last Sunday after blowing a cloud of vape smoke into the air — but footage also showed the mother of four groping her man’s crotch mid-show.

“I was laughing, I was singing, having a great time. Was told to settle it down a bit, which I did but then I slipped up and took a picture,” explained Boebert on OAN.

Boebert, who is going through a divorce, was with her new beau, Democratic Aspen bar owner Quinn Gallagher, who was also caught fondling her breasts during the performance.

News of his wild weekend exploits quickly went viral. Boebert blamed the media for exaggerating the affair.

“We have just asked Kevin McCarthy, the Speaker of the House to announce an impeachment inquiry,” he said. “We are facing a government shutdown and trying to fund the federal government. We have a wide open southern border.”

“And what is the top story? Lauren Boebert was kicked out of the theater.”

Initially, Boebert’s spokesperson denied reports that he had been fired from music for vaping.

“I can confirm an amazing and sad rumor: in her private time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed the weekend’s Beetlejuice performance,” campaign manager Drew Sexton told several branches.

But after surveillance footage came out showing the plumes of smoke and the mischievous behavior, Boebert struck a more conciliatory tone.

“There is no perfect blueprint for getting through a very public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has been a challenging personal time for me and my entire family,” Boebert wrote in a mea culpa on social media on Friday.

“I have tried to handle it with as much strength and grace as possible, but I failed to live up to my standards on Sunday. That is unacceptable and I apologize.”

Boebert filed for divorce from her husband, Jayson, in April. A month earlier, she revealed that her son Tyler, 17 at the time, was pregnant with a girl.

The famous MP has reportedly been dating Gallagher for months. He co-owns Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen, which has hosted drag shows in the past.

Boebert, who has an arresting rap sheet, has very critical of drag shows for military recruitment and in the classroom.

Shortly after Boebert claimed a narrow victory in Colorado’s R+15 3rd Congressional District, he vowed to be “a good listener, to take a deep breath, and help bring down the temperature in DC”

Boebert is known for his fiery temper where he is photographed with a high-powered firearm and is said to have been involved in a bathroom brawl with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)

He has already committed to a third term in Congress, setting up a possible clash with Aspen City Councilman Adam Frisch.

Boebert barely fended off a challenge from Frisch in the 2022 cycle, by a slim 546 votes.
