Ex-husband Rep. US Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) was arrested for allegedly pushing her 18-year-old son and putting her thumb in the teenager’s mouth as if she was “going to pull his teeth.”
An arrest warrant obtained by The Post shows Jayson Boebert was arrested Tuesday in connection with an incident involving his son, Tyler, at their home in Silt, Colo.
The incident is separate from an alleged fight between Boebert and his ex-wife that occurred on Jan. 6 at the Miner’s Claim Restaurant.
Garfield County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at Boebert’s home around 1 a.m. Tuesday after Tyler called 911 and told dispatchers that his father was drunk and had a gun, according to an arrest warrant.
“Tyler described that Jayson pushed him by placing one hand on his throat/neck area and pushing back,” the Dept. wrote. Cid Ramirez in the warrant. “Tyler became upset at this point and a physical altercation began between Jayson and him.”

The deputy added that when the fight between the father and son escalated, Boebert allegedly “put the thumb of his right hand in Tyler’s mouth … [and] Tyler felt like Jayson was going to pull his teeth out.”
Tyler had held his cell at one point during the alleged fight and managed to call his mother, who then told her son to call the police.
Boebert was allegedly upset that his son was lying in bed with a laundry basket full of clothes and grabbed the teenager’s phone before allegedly attacking him.

“Tyler advised that because Jayson was under the influence of alcohol, he was clumsy and dropped the phone several times,” the deputy wrote. “Tyler believes Jayson is under the influence because he is only clumsy when he drinks alcohol and he has slurred speech.
Police arrested Boebert on Tuesday on charges of prohibited use of a weapon, harassment and third-degree assault for the incident with her son — all misdemeanors.
Boebert’s arrest follows a Jan. 6 incident at the Miner’s Claim restaurant in Silt, where he called police on his ex-wife and claimed she had shoved him in the face in a case of “domestic violence.”
Silt police said it took at least eight attempts to get Boebert out of the crowded restaurant, according to court reports.

Lauren Boebert told police she and Jayson were at their ex-marriage’s home when they talked about “their new partner.”
“Lauren explained to Ofc. Morrison that Jayson was hurt and she believed he did this tonight to make him suffer like he did after the divorce,” Silt Police Officer Terran Farnham wrote in a report.
The Republican leader told police his ex drank three shots of Tequila while they were at their old home. She also said Jayson tried to “get close to her,” but she pushed him away and told him, “Don’t touch me, like don’t touch me.”
The couple decided to continue the conversation at the Miner’s Claim restaurant, where Boebert continued to drink.
“Things got heated as the two sides argued, at one point Lauren admitted to putting her finger on Jayson’s nose to end the conversation. … Lauren stated Jayson told her, ‘Congratulations, your name is going to be in the headlines,’” Farnham wrote in her report.

Police said Boebert refused to cooperate and yelled at police, “I’m gonna have a drink before the f—-r closes. I will be very drunk. I don’t want to talk to you ibuf—–s.”
Boebert was also arrested for disorderly conduct, third-degree trespassing and obstructing a peace officer.
However, in a statement issued today, Silt police said that although Jayson claimed he was punched in the face, officers did not see any marks on him.
They added: “During the investigation over the next few days, Silt Police learned that the restaurant did not have video surveillance that was being actively recorded during business hours.
“No direct witnesses came forward … Jayson Boebert contacted the Silt Police to withdraw any allegations of domestic violence. Due to the lack of any evidence, the allegations of Domestic Violence against Rep. Lauren Boebert is unfounded and the investigation into Rep. Boebert is closed.”

Boebert said he “overreacted” when he first called police to the Miner’s Claim restaurant, according to an interview he did with Westword.
“I just put one arm around him and told him I’m sorry for everything,” Boebert told the publication. “I mean, I hurt her, man. He didn’t want this; he wants to get married He wants to have this happy family.”
He added, “I’m upset. I’ve been working. I’ve spent all day just reflecting on everything. Wish I’d gotten a little better about it. I probably shouldn’t have gone there [to Miner’s Claim].”
The couple married in the mid-2000s, but divorced in 2023 citing irreconcilable differences.
Lauren Boebert also has a minor arrest record, including for disorderly conduct and missing a court summons.
He also allegedly went into the bathroom shouting matches with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) last year.
The Republican also made headlines in September after she and her ex-boyfriend, Quinn Gallager, attended a performance of the musical “Beetlejuice.” Video captured the congresswoman groping Gallagher’s crotch and him blowing a puff of vape smoke into the air.
