Samantha Ware blasted the show’s lead actress Lea Michele after she tweeted support for Black Lives Matter and the killing of George Floyd.

Lea Called Out By “Glee” Co-Star For “Traumatic Microaggression”

Lea’s friend revealed to Position said QUOTE, “He had a real wake-up call. It’s not easy to hear people talk about you this way. It was surprising.”

The Broadway star stopped by “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Wednesday, September 21.

He talks about who helped him change his behavior and what caused him not to see how rude he was to his co-stars.

“I can’t see things clearly,” he admitted. “It’s all about my career, you know, I’ve been so career-focused my whole life. I thought wrong. I thought I just had a sense of drive that created a lot of blind spots for me in my life.

Lea is currently starring as Fanny Brice in the Broadway production of “Funny Girl”. He takes over the role that Beanie Feldstein held earlier this year.

At the same time Ware came out, guns blazing on Lea, she and her husband, Zandy Reich, were expecting their first child together.

Her son Ever is now two years old.

“Then when I met my husband, it was a fundamental feeling for me, and then having our son and experiencing the challenges that we did throughout the pregnancy was something that, unfortunately, created a stronger bond in us that I would not have hoped for . to anyone, but it happens,” the actress admitted.

Lea Appreciates Her Husband & Son For Helping Change Her Attitude

She credits her marriage to Zandy for helping to “change” her life and appreciates the “great opportunity” she has been given with “Funny Girl.”

“As a performer – as an individual – I just feel like what I’m doing now with this is on me and how I handle this. I’m really ready to take it all in and put on a great show every night but also have fun with my cast , going home and celebrating with my family, which is something I’ve never done before,” Lea explained to Barrymore. “I really enjoy being able to open my eyes to everything that’s going on around me because it’s all good and if it’s not fun, so why do we do it?”

Lea recently did an interview with The New York Times and deal with his bad behavior.

He didn’t stop defending there.

“I leave no room for error,” admitted the 36-year-old. “That level of perfectionism, or that pressure of perfectionism, left me with a lot of blind spots.”

Lea stated that she has changed the way she approaches her work given her past “bad girl” reputation.

“I really understand the importance and value of being a leader now,” he explained. “That means not only going out and doing a good job when the cameras are rolling, but also when they’re not. And that’s not the most important thing to me.”
