According to New York Postone woman, Laura Eletel, slammed Michele’s behavior on the set of the now-cancelled show, “The Mayor.”
In a since-deleted video, she talked about working as a background regular on the show and having to play Michele while filming episode 7 of 12.
As part of the requirements, Eletel said she is expected to perform several tasks that will ensure the “Funny Girl” star fulfills her role.
However, when he met with Michelle to read the script and go over the director’s notes, the actor allegedly had a no-nonsense attitude.
“I was like halfway, he didn’t make eye contact with me, he didn’t say hello, he didn’t, like, acknowledge my presence,” Eletel recalled the alleged experience. “I was like, ‘OK, maybe he just, like, heard it. It’s okay.'”
She added that when Michele finally noticed her presence, the “Glee” star rudely greeted her.
“Finally, he looked up, and he said, ‘You’re still talking? I need it to stop,'” Eletel said before adding that he felt like dying “on the spot.”
Lea Michele Almost Got Fired
Eletel also explained in the video that Michele displayed other inappropriate behaviors, such as throwing tantrums and refusing to show up on time.
“By Episode 3, they were thinking of firing him because he kept throwing tantrums and being in his trailer too long and like, making the production just a few days over budget,” he said in a now-deleted TikTok by Perez Hilton.
Eletel also claimed that the 36-year-old “needs” the job because she faced backlash following accusations that she was “racist, mean and aggressive on the set of ‘Glee.'”
Thus, Michele still puts up an attitude despite being “officially blacklisted as difficult” at the time to the annoyance of her former colleagues.

Eletel claims that the rest of the cast and crew also had a tough time working with the actress.
He recalled that one of them, Yvette Nicole Brown, had to restrain herself from “cursing” the actor on the last day of filming.
“It was very proud because I was the cover for the episode, and I witnessed it,” Eletel recounted the experience. “It’s so sad because I really want to like her because I think she’s beautiful and she’s so talented.” He added, “But he’s so pathetic.”
Eletel said that she had forgotten about the event until recently when reports that Michele could not read began to spread.
“I was like, ‘I’ve never seen him type anything on his phone’ – ’cause he’s always on his phone,” she claimed. “I mean, he wouldn’t even look at the script, and I’m thinking now maybe it’s because he can’t read the script.”

He added, “But the most important thing is for everyone to just take a step back. More than anything, I’m very grateful to have this opportunity to apply what I’ve learned over the past ten-plus years in a positive way. “
