Mia Khalifa – who was once the most watched entertainer on PornHub – is now receiving a real backlash from social media after speaking out in support of Hamas’s violent attacks on civilians in Israel.
The 30-year-old porn star sparked some major controversy over the weekend when she took to social media following reports of early morning attacks on unarmed civilians, including women and children.
“Power to the People,” Khalifa wrote on Instagram of a photo of Palestinians breaking the blockade in Gaza that separates Israel from the Palestinian territories bordering the Mediterranean Sea.
Fighting in Gaza, also known as the Gaza Strip, has been going on for more than three decades, but over the past few months, tensions have risen as incursions from both sides have escalated the situation.
However, the October 7 attack by Hamas, which is widely recognized as a terrorist organization, was quickly and widely condemned by world leaders for its violent actions against unarmed civilians.
The Lebanese-born Khalifa, who has been deeply anti-Israel in the past, does not seem to see the killing of men, women and children as an issue.
“If you can look at the situation in Palestine and not side with the Palestinians, then you are on the wrong side of apartheid and history will show that in time,” he wrote on X to his 5.6 million followers.
Khalifa’s fans and followers didn’t see it that well, with many questioning his political stance on his career as an adult film star.

“Go stand in Gaza with your last movie poster & say it again. We’ll wait,” one fan fired back.
“Due to your former occupation and your current outspoken views on non-traditional marriage slavery, you will not be well received in Palestine. You might want to sit this one out,” wrote another social media user.
One stated that even if Mia Khalifa is not a fan of Israel, she would be welcome: “Girl, you can’t enter any Arab country because of your history.. you can go to Israel… just shut up .”
Messages from fans did not deter Khalifa, who posted further support for Palestine and also directed a message to Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
He also directly reached out to one of his critics, Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg, who DMed Khalifa: “Bad tweet dude … Wow,” Rosenberg messaged.
“S—ing loser, gtfoh with that bull–t I’m from Lebanon, I’ve been through more air raids by the IDF than your little special brain ever knew how to handle,” Khalifa wrote.
He continued, “You know nothing but tall tales about a land that is not yours, created by an army that has nothing to do with your peace. [God] love religion Don’t you disrespect me and my experience with what geopolitical warfare is again, son.”
