The NBA star shared his thoughts on meeting the young lady in his Instagram caption. “Dear Parker, Nice to meet you! You are a beautiful Young Black Queen! Don’t let anything stop you from being whatever your mind and heart desires! Just from our brief meeting yesterday, I know you are destined for greatness and I will always love you!!!,” he wrote.

The shared video shows how curious Parker was when James took the time to sign his book, “I Promise,” which James wrote himself.
The LA Lakers also shared the moment on their Instagram page simply captioning the photo and video, “This is why ? ?.” James’ post quickly received more than 1 million likes and many positive and heartfelt comments.
Actor and New Kids on the Block member Donnie Wahlberg left the comment, “??❤️” and actor Michael B. Jordan added, “?.” Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx left the comment, “Beautiful.” The LeBron James Family Foundation commented, “I promise to be brave, to be free, to strive for greatness… and to be me! ??”

The book shares the same name as the LeBron James Family Foundation’s “I Promise” school and program in James’ hometown of Akron, Ohio.
