Later, it was reported that he had been discharged from the hospital after a three-day stay. A representative for the James family confirmed to PEOPLE that Bronny’s condition has stabilized, prompting him to be moved out of the intensive care unit. The medical facility also released a statement on its website:

“Thanks to the quick and effective response by the USC athletic medicine staff, Bronny James was successfully treated for sudden cardiac arrest. He arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center fully conscious, neurologically intact, and stable. Mr James was immediately cared for by trained staff and was allowed to return home, where he is resting.
