The “Stack It Up” singer took to Instagram to share a lengthy letter of apology after attending the UK premiere of Tomlinson’s new documentary, “All of those voices.”
“Seeing the world through your eyes last night was the most beautiful thing to experience,” Payne shared. “My neck hurts because I look up to you so much right now. You’ve been my friend and my brother, but looking through that window into your world and mind, I only convey the respect I have for you.”
He continued, “I’m so sorry that I was so crazy and I didn’t do better for you, I feel ashamed in those moments for not being a good friend like you did to me.”
Payne concluded by saying that he had realized what had happened and that he wanted to make up for his mistakes. Tomlinson’s documentary is scheduled to hit theaters on March 22.

The fan is turned on Twitter baffled by Payne’s recent appearance on the red carpet of Tomlinson’s film premiere and wondered what might have happened to the singer’s face.
