Reinhart said, “I’m exposed to pictures of myself all the time on social media, on my shows, pictures of me on my shows, which started when I was 19. So I’m always comparing what I look like now to what I looked like when I was 19 , a child.”

The actress explained her struggles with weight gain and said she had a tough time shooting the final season of “Riverdale” because it was the heaviest she’d ever been.

“Recording my performance [Riverdale] and having that weight gain basically documented on camera, episode by episode, week by week of my life, my weight ups and downs,” explained Reinhart. “It felt so much like this huge problem, this thing that literally took 90% of my brain capacity; I hardly think about anything else.”

The 26-year-old revealed that most of her thoughts during that period revolved around her weight. This includes her food intake, how she can lose weight, how she looks now compared to before and how other people look different. “All my thoughts were about my body, and it was overwhelming and a very negative headspace that I had,” Reinhart said.
